One of Many Reasons….

why I love my brother.?? ๐Ÿ™‚

I actually saw this on HEIDI’s FB wall tonight and am laughing my head off.?? And no…I do NOT feel one bit sorry for David.?? This is the brother that pulled me out of a backyard pool during a party and gave me mouth to mouth.?? I WAS NOT DROWNING.?? He just thought that would be hilariously funny.?? Like Ty, if they get the idea in their head they run with it.

Aimee was just dishin’ a little sumpin’ sumpin’ back at em and I just want to say publicly that I support what my sister in love did.?? Further, I think this bit disqualifies David from getting to mock me over the inmate incident. Check out this coldcall.mp3 on KNIX.

P.S.

David is not a hot head – never has been.?? Zane hit him over the head with a baseball bat while he was in a dead sleep and David woke up and said “Hi buddy”.?? No kidding.?? There were witnesses.?? If you have to call 911 in his neck of the woods, I hope you are lucky enough to meet our local hero.???? He’s got “pressure under fire” down to an art.?? ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. Wow, very impressive David. I probably would have been freaking out ๐Ÿ™‚ I’d share this with Eric, but then he might get some ideas and I do not want a phone call like that ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. as wild a boy as he was you would think he’d be wild under pressure – but just the opposite. i guess the fact that he lived through all those youthful experiences just set him up to handle the future experiences… once he realized he survived it fine it was nothing to him to see someone else in an emergency. ๐Ÿ™‚ hee hee… and not a hothead… wow… jason and i would have been such a mess on that call! ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. When Zandi was a baby I was watching her while David was fishing in a Colorado River about 200 yards away. Zandy was choking on something and bearly breathing. A caretaker in a golf cart shuttled me holding a choking baby down to the river bank. I yelled that the HIS BABY was choking. He calmly laid down his pole, WALKED to me, took Zandy from my arms and calmly, turned her up side down and removed a piece of a tv remote control from her throat with his little finger…and handed her back to me, picking up his pole and returned to fishing! I was weak in the knees and sat in the golf cart for a minuite and felt the need to explain the seriousness of the situation to David. His only response was, I knew I had at least a minute and a half before there was a serious problem…I had it covered. I still don’t think he realized I DID NOT HAVE A MINUITE AND A HALF! His confidence and ability is nothing short of a gift from God to glorify Him…..I think God likes to laugh too!

  4. Every family needs their own persoanl “sunshine” and David is definitely the one. I could probably go through each family and be able to tell you who their own personal “sunshine” is (like Jamie in mine, Ty in Doni’s etc.) but how much more fun to hear from each of you – who is your personal “sunshine” – the one that just makes you smile, and is always entertaining, etc??? From the time David was a tiny little guy he just always made us smile! From the moment he would wake up (with his indian hair sticking straight up – and I mean 4 to 5 inches of straight up) and his wit and sparkle and life is meant to be livin’ attitude! Man are we glad he can remain calm under pressure, God certainly designed him for his fireman role…Surprise, you are in mighty good hands!!!! (For those of you not in our state, that is Surprise, Arizona btw!!!)
