See these wide eyes? ??So did I. ??Nearly the entire shoot. ?? Miss Reese was determined not to miss a thing. ??I was amazed at her level of alertness and focus. ??She was so adorable and very interested in all that I was doing.
I was shocked when I was shooting away and saw her SMILE at her mama. ??Fully awake smile at only 10 days old! ??That very rarely happens in a newborn’s first week of life. ??I have a feeling this little one is going to keep mom and dad on their toes!
I wasn’t sure what would happen putting a fully alert newborn next to the dog but it was pretty evident that these two love one another already.

oh my! she really was alert! you handled it quite well and really captured those pretty eyes. beautiful baby. beautiful family. beautiful shoot. beautiful home (check out that cool door as a backdrop!). and the pups even did good. 😉 is the black one a lab or at least part lab? i really think they are the best with little ones. ours was so perfect for seth’s early years!
