I have a new dad this week.?? He is really cool.?? Very loving and laid back.?? He has offered to cook me all my favorite meals and has run to the store in his car several times to pick up food for me.?? He takes me to the beach and Disneyland every day.?? He asks me about 50 times a day if I slept good last night.?? He also described the best way for dismembering crickets so I won’t be scared at night. (Have I ever mentioned that Ty is afraid of crickets?) ?? He offered to read me a Curious George book before bed and likes to hold my hand.?? Last night, I gained EXTRA appreciation for my loving father.?? Jim was getting after you-know-who for scattering the X-box games on top of the shelf.?? Ty said “Actually, I didn’t do that my daughter did”.?? He then came and found me and said “Daughter you messed up all the Xbox games”.<\/p>\n

“Oh Dad!?? I am so sorry!?? I DID do that!?? Do you forgive me?”<\/p>\n

This followed by a precious grin and a soft “Yes”.<\/p>\n

I then went to Jim and requested that in the future, if he had a bone to pick with me, that he please allow Ty to play the Father\/Daughter game and send the reprimand through Ty.?? I would FAR rather be “talked to” by Dad Ty then husband Jim.?? :)?? Jim gave me that “I bet you would grin”.?? You know the one I am talking about.<\/p>\n

Yesterday at the breakfast table, Ty and I had a funny conversation.<\/p>\n

Doni:?? Made Ty breakfast and handed it to him.<\/p>\n

Ty:?? Mmmmmmm….dreamy.?? \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Doni:?? Glad you like it.?? \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Ty:?? Is I’m real or am I pretend?<\/p>\n

Doni:?? Real Ty.?? Definitely Real.?? LOL.<\/p>\n
