Several months ago, Jodi and I were engaging in discussions about their family shoot.?? Jodi wanted something historic urbanish but she wanted to dress vintage.?? I suggested she think “Stepford Wives”.?? Our friend Stephanie sewed this 40’s style dress for her and we had a location all planned out.?? On shoot day, we arrive at our location and it was jam packed with people.?? We came up with a plan B and same story – heavy people traffic.?? It was getting late in the day, daylight was burnin’, and my blood pressure was rising because it was beginning to look like the first shoot I have ever been on where my camera stayed packed in the bag.?? In an effort to gather our thoughts and find a good turn around spot, we literally stumbled upon a treasure.?? We are off this dirt road and I spot a hill covered in antique vehicles.?? To make this story short, I stumbled upon a photographer’s gold mine and was so excited I was almost in tears hee hee.?? Darin thought I was a bit nuts.?? Wasn’t exactly the location my sister had in mind, but I asked her to TRUST me and thankfully she did.???? You’ll be seeing highlights from this shoot all week long.?? :)?? I’ll share some of Darin and Jodi’s love story tomorrow but for today let’s just get on with on it.<\/p>\n
