This week a friend forwarded an email to me entitled “Tough Love versus Spanking”. I am not a big “forwards” person and to be honest, I rarely read them because I get too many. The title caught my attention though. I must admit, this little article was amazingly helpful and I just HAD to share this with you. Tough Love vs. Spanking<\/strong><\/p>\n

Most of America’s populace thinks it very improper to spank children, so my spouse and I have tried other methods to control our kids when they have one of “those moments”.<\/p>\n

One that we found very effective is for me just take the child for a car ride and talk.<\/p>\n

They usually calm down and stop misbehaving after our little car ride together.<\/p>\n

I’ve included the photo below of one of my sessions, with our son, in case you would like to use the technique.<\/p>\n

Its very effective! <\/p>\n

I had to bribe Tanner with gummy bears tonight to get him to cooperate. It was worth it.
