This week I was listening to one of my favorite CD’s. Anyone an Audio Adrenaline fan? I LOVE this group! (See, I am a bit of a rocker at heart:). Their “Underdog” album is my favorite! <\/p>\n
I was listening to the words of “Good Life” and they captured me this week differant than ever before. <\/p>\n
Good Life<\/strong><\/p>\n I’ve watched my dreams all fade away This is the good life This is the good life Loneliness has left me searching What good would it be The end of the 2nd verse is a wonderful way of stating a profound truth I have learned. <\/p>\n First, those that sorrow understand joy on a completely different level. <\/em> I am not sorry for that. I will never be. I am thankful that I was given the opportunity to experience and understand it even though the lesson has included much pain.<\/p>\n Second, pain HAS been a catalyst for my heart’s happiness. <\/em> Without infertility, no Tanner and Ty, without sexual abuse as a young college student (I don’t speak of that much but I am willing to) I wouldn’t understand incredible GRACE, without Ty’s early birth, I wouldn’t have witnessed a miracle.<\/p>\n If I had everything but did not have the one thing I needed (my precious Saviour)…I would be lost and hopeless. My losses have served to be my gains. This is the good life and I am continually finding everything that matters.<\/p>\n
