Why the change? I have been using Typepads free trial this month. As it turns out, the most advanced typepad service available only allows for 5 gigs of bandwidth per month. As of today, it appears that I will far exceed 5 gigs in my first month on typepad. They do not have a package available that can accomodate the level of web traffic that my site is getting! How in the heck did that happen? I am not (nor have I personally ever) advertising this site. I have not made it "public" on typepad either yet I am getting an average of 400 to 500 hits per day on this journal! <\/p>\n

Anyhow, as I don’t want to pay for overage fees every month, I have no choice but to abandon this service much as I like it. Even if they had a package that accomodated my web traffic, it would probably be too expensive for me anyhow. By moving a blog platform to my website, I won’t be paying an additional monthly charge.
