He is wide awake for about 90 minutes in the morning (typically 10:00 to 11:30 AMish) and then he is wide awake for about the same amount of time in the late evening (usually when I want to go to bed).?? Other than that, he is only awake for shorter spells close to feeding times which are every 3 to 4 hours.?? Sleepy sleepy baby.???? I decided to try to get a few of him smiling but that wasn’t easy to pull off because he smiles at me when I am playing with him and close to his face (which I couldn’t do with a camera very well) so he looked more “concerned” today.?? LOL.?????? Did I note that he alarmed again on 9/7/11 (4 alarm)??? Can’t wait for that to end.?? (Ohhh and yes that dimple is on BOTH sides).?? He is just starting to try talking to us now too.?? I think he talks to Tanner the most.?????? Tanner’s probably the better listener in the family if truth be told.

********************************

I FINALLY saw a couple of episodes of?? “I Didn’t Know I Was Pregnant”.?? Due to Troy’s birthstory, everyone brings this show to my attention.?? Tori was in the room playing a DSI and it didn’t appear she was paying any attention.?? (Not a show I would necessarily have “let” her view had I thought she was watching it).???? The episode was of a woman who gave birth (footling breach) in a rest area bathroom.?? When the show concluded, Tori looks at me and says quite matter of factly “That happened to me today.”

“What happened to you today?”?? I say.

“THAT!”?? as she points to the show “and it VERY hurt”.

LOL.?? I told her I was going to call Sweetie and tell her that because I couldn’t believe she had given birth today in a rest area bathroom.?? Tori then says “Uh….actually it didn’t.”

She is so funny but I am a tad concerned about her skill in weaving yarns.?? 😉

*************************************

Setting:?? In the car

Ty:?? MOM!?? Tanner just (blah blah blah blah) to Tori

Tanner:?? I did NOT!?? I was teasing.?? I was just joking with her!

Tori:?? Well…it didn’t work!

*************************************

Forgive me if I already wrote this.???? I have newborn mommy brain right now.?? My friend Tom Simpson once reassured me that I repeat stories amazingly consistently so hope that proves to be the case if I already posted this.?? 🙂

Recently Tanner demonstrated an imitation of Troy.?? He flailed his arms out (you know the newborn “help me I am falling” startled thing?) while simultaneously crossing his eyes.?? It was a remarkably great imitation of a newborn and was especially funny because TANNER (my shy boy) did it.?? Don’t bother asking him to show you.?? He would never repeat it on request.?? Never.?? I’ll just have to treasure the memory hee hee.?? 🙂

Now that I have written that, it didn’t seem familiar at all so I am going to guess I didn’t post it already.

Troy is our sleepiest baby yet.??
