In 2001, Dad celebrated 25 years of pastoring Grace Family Fellowship. We had a big celebration for them and gifted them with an all expense paid trip to New England. For several reasons, they didn’t take the trip like they planned that year and the following year, my mother’s dad passed away and she wasn’t ready for a big vacation. FINALLY, they decided to take their trip and they left today!!! Instead of flying, they decided to pull their trailer and go across the country at their own speed. I am not clear which states they will pass through but I know Colorado, Illinois, Oklahoma, Mass, Maine, Vermont, New Jersey and the Carolina’s are on the list. They will be gone about a month. Mom couldn’t say good bye today without crying. She has never been away from her kids and grandkids that long and as anxious as she was for this vacation, she was miserable leaving. Please pray for traveling mercies for them. I know family members will want trip updates so I’ll post them as I get them. I loaned dad my Elph so he is supposed to be emailing me pictures.
