Ferris has been in rehab for over a week now.?? His leg is healing pretty well all things considered but they are having trouble thinning his blood.?? Due to the blood clot issue, (I believe he is up to 8 ), it’s very important that these blood thinners take effect and so far they have been unsuccessful with getting them in range.?? He did get a half day pass last week to be with his family though and that made everyone very happy!!<\/p>\n
He has officially lost his job due to this though because FMLA only covers 12 weeks and he will be unable to work for at least 6 months.?? The family needs a lot of prayer in regards to how they survive this tragedy financially.?? There are no easy answers to this one.<\/p>\n
BUT…there has been some GREAT news!?? As of last Friday, Landen was RELEASED from Hospice care!!!!!!?? YEAH!!!!!!?? This is a??huge step for him!!!????To keep things in perspective, he is still having a tough time of it..in fact the paramedics were there last night due to a very bad episode but he isn’t having??nearly as many life threatening episodes as he was last month.?? He is not ready for surgery still but this is definitely a step in the right direction so we will take it!!!!?? Thank??you for your continued prayer, love and support.??<\/p>\n
