Me:?? Are you getting your seat belt on?<\/p>\n

Tori:?? Yes but I am not done yet so don’t start driving until I tell you I am finished.<\/p>\n

Me:?? I won’t!?? (Grrrrrr…as if!)<\/p>\n

Tori:?? And don’t say “Are you done yet??? Are you done yet??? Are you done yet??? Are you done yet??? I’ll let you know when I am ready.”<\/p>\n

Mostly she is MY daughter but sometimes she is her father’s daughter.<\/p>\n

Tori:?? Mommy when I go to heaven and see Jesus will I see Poppy there?<\/p>\n

Me:?? Yes.<\/p>\n

Tori:?? Is he still your dad?<\/p>\n

Me:?? He is still my Grandpa and he will be so happy to see you.<\/p>\n

Ty:?? Mommy what does Jesus look like?<\/p>\n

Tori:?? You know Ty!?? You see pictures of him in our bible!<\/p>\n

Jim:?? Tori those pictures are just what some people think he looks like.<\/p>\n

Tori:?? Well it would make me happy if he DOES look like that.<\/p>\n

LOL.?? Sounds exactly like something my mother would say.?? Come to think of it, I am certain she has.<\/p>\n

Tori:?? Can I let a balloon go outside?<\/p>\n

Me:?? Just one.<\/p>\n

She comes back in a few minutes later.<\/p>\n

Tori:?? I asked Jesus to give that balloon to Poppy.<\/p>\n

Me:?? Oh that was sweet of you.<\/p>\n

Tori:?? Can I have one more??? I should give one to Jesus too.<\/p>\n

In the shower…<\/p>\n

Tori:?? So what’s your plan?<\/p>\n

Me:?? Well first I am going to take a shower.<\/p>\n

Tori:?? Check.?? Your doing that.?? What else?<\/p>\n

Then she went through her elaborate plan for the day.?? Asking me my daily plan has become her habit.?? Pretty cute.<\/p>\n

Recently I had a tearful day.?? When Ty came across me during a very sad moment, I watched him stare in bewilderment but he never said a word.?? Just went on with his day.?? Tori, however, approached like this:<\/p>\n

“Are you crying?”<\/p>\n

“Yes”<\/p>\n

“Why are you crying?”<\/p>\n

“Because I am just having a sad day.”<\/p>\n

“Can you talk to me about it?”<\/p>\n

LOL.?? She is pure adorable.<\/p>\n
