“Mommy I think she smiles the most when I am holding her.”?? – Big Brother Tanner<\/p>\n

Tori weighs 5 pounds 11 ounces now.?? The Dr. appointment went well yesterday.?? The Dr. does want me to keep her in through RSV season.?? Her due date was March 20th and hopefully the season winds down at the end of March.????<\/p>\n

Awww!?? She was awake for about 1 hour and 45 minutes when I took these pictures today!?? That is the longest I have seen her eyes open.??<\/p>\n

This was Ty’s wub a nub!?? I need to order a girl one!?? She doesn’t really care for pacies but she does love this red dog pacy.?? The strange thing is the other pacy’s are exactly the same.?? Apparently she is a puppy lover.?? \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

“So….how does she go number 1?” – Tanner (LOL)!<\/p>\n

The close up of her eyelashes as requested.?? :)?? Isn’t that impressive for any newborn much less a preemie who isn’t due until the end of March!??<\/p>\n

In attendance for her first bath:?? Jim, Doni, Dusty and Michelle.?? I was told by her foster family that she did NOT like bath time so I decided to try a swaddle bath.?? A trick I learned in the NICU with Ty.?? If you wrap them in a receiving blanket and immerse them in warm water, they tend to be much happier.?? As you are about to see…she loved it…til’ I took her out.?? :)?? Can you believe she fit in that bowl??? LOL.??<\/p>\n

Holy Cow!?? The Baby Magic Lavender lotion is AWESOME!!!<\/p>\n

I love these wrinkly little legs.?? Her skin just hangs on her – we need to fatten this little lady up!<\/p>\n

Michelle and I were DYING laughing after her bath and I didn’t get a picture of what had us in hysterics.?? Jim didn’t like how I was combing her hair so we were debating what to do with it.?? Finally I just mussed it a bit and left it having no other idea.?? When it dried, every piece of hair on her head stood on end.?? She looked like a newborn chick all fluffy.?? It was sooooooo funny!?? I need to do this to her again and take a picture.?? Funniest ever!?? I guess I need to apply a teeny amount of oil after I was her hair??? What to do??? I can’t even tell you how funny.<\/p>\n

After reviewing all these pictures again, I am crying.?? I have been soooo emotional the last three days.?? They are happy happy happy joy tears though.?? She has so filled my heart – I can’t get enough of her.?? I can’t even describe the great depths of what I feel for this little one (but every new mom knows EXACTLY what I am talking about! \ud83d\ude42 ).<\/p>\n

This picture taken yesterday with Grammy Rene holding her for the first time.?? I love that little preemie onsie and skirt on her.?? It was just so sweet.??<\/p>\n

For the last few months, we have been praying for “our baby” every night with the kids.?? I have told them that God knows what He is doing when He designs families and that we were asking Him to choose just the perfect baby to be ours and we wanted to be the perfect choice for the baby.?? After Tori came home, Tanner and I were talking and I said “Tori is so special because God hand picked her for us just like we asked Him to.?? He thinks she is going to be a great treasure for us.???? I am so anxious to get to know her because it will be so fun to learn all the ways why God thought she was so perfect for me and daddy and you and Ty.”??<\/p>\n

Yesterday on the way to Grammy Rene’s, Tanner said in the car (out of the blue with no former reference save the above earlier discussions):<\/p>\n

“I don’t know why God picked her for us but I think it might be because she is so cute.” – Tanner James <\/strong><\/p>\n
