In my family, birthday celebrations are family celebrations.  When I was a child, my parents would buy gifts for the birthday kid but then buy something small for the siblings.  That made birthday&#8217;s fun for all 5 of us!  <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/jimanddoni.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2005\/Jan\/IMG_5958web.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We are continuing on this same tradition&#8230;thus the zoo day.  Ty could have cared less what we did but Tanner&#8217;s favorite place on the whole planet is the zoo.  Ty enjoyed the good outdoors (as you will see in his pictures) and big brother loved having a younger sibling to get birthday benefits from LOL!<\/p>\n<p>Ty started coming down with a cold yesterday though and was so miserable last night I had to let him sleep in a swing all night.  I am confident he will plunge right through this though so no worries at this point.<\/p>\n<p>Ty gave us a little birthday present too!  On the eve of his first birthday, he figured out how to army crawl!!!!  Yeah!!!  We thought he was a few months from doing this but he suprised us!  He mainly uses his arms to pull his body but he has definitely figured out forward movement.  Now we can at least say he was army crawling by his first birthday!  Good job buddy!
