Today I went out to Dan and Brooke’s to take her pregnancy pictures.?? She is 36 weeks pregnant with my little Cozy Grace.?? We intended to drive out into the wilds for this shoot but schedules just never allowed it.?? I am grateful that we ended up staying at “the” ranch because it turned out to be the perfect backdrop for these pictures and brought another level of sentimentality to the shoot as well.???? I decided to be brave (or very stupid) and shoot the entire thing OCF.???? I did a couple of practice shoots and decided that Brooke would be my test case.?? :)??<\/p>\n

I love HDR (high dynamic range) photography – absolutely positively adore it.?? Using OCF is one way to accomplish a much higher dynamic range – something I have realized is important to me.???? As I was shooting today, my excitement was growing because I felt like I was getting what I wanted out of it.?? When I got home and loaded them up I wanted to call Brooke immediately (though I didn’t because it was late).???? I am thrilled to pieces (we Everett’s say that) about what I am seeing SOOC.???? I can’t wait to dig in and start processing them.?? I’ll just say this now though – Brooke looks drop dead G O R G E O U S.?? I have got five beautiful sisters (Heidi, Brooke, Jodi, Aimee, Michelle)??inside and out and when I can capture the beauty that I see, I am elated.?? Daniel looked at my LCD a couple of times and said “Wow!?? You have captured MY girl!”?? :).?? Anxious to see them??? :)?? I got some of all five of them in Brooke’s garden that look unreal.?? The OCF worked out so well that it almost made her garden look like a prop the color is so vibrant.<\/p>\n

I will only post a couple of sneek peaks though because I hope to post several to my business portfolio.?? You’ll have to visit my business galleries when I get them posted there.?? I’ll let you know.<\/p>\n

Speaking of sisters…<\/p>\n

Last year Aimee wrote a song for Mother’s Day and I loved it.?? I asked her to record it for me and she finally video taped it.?? Aimee is a talented musician and songwriter and hopes to do more in the future.?? Between Heidi and Aimee, those two may give Kara Diguordio a run for her money someday hee hee.?? \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

I need to get Aimee’s permission to post it here because I am confused about copyright but assuming she will let me, I’ll post it this week.<\/p>\n

Pictures above is Alyssa.?? She is one of my very favorite small persons in the world.?? :)?? She is five years old with a personality of at least 25.?? Mother’s Day weekend we went up to Strawberry for the day.?? I didn’t take very many pictures but this one of Alyssa was a favorite.<\/p>\n

Tori had the time of her life.?? Like her mom, she believes that a bit of dirt is a small price to??pay for some serious good times.?? She is going to be a great photographer assistant for me someday.?? It takes getting dirty to really get the job done sometimes – a girl after my own heart.?? :)??Though I must say, the pictures of Graham and Braxtyn on Brooke’s site this past week take the cake on the dirt factor.?? Don’t think we’ll ever beat that.?? \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n
