Escape!!!!

Just a couple of weeks ago Brooke and Heidi were involved in an email conversation that I could not relate to. Tanner never did the deed.

I am in big trouble now because my little Ty boy just figured it out! Don’t worry – Daddy is fixing the problem at 11:15 PM as I type this.

I caught the crime on video as I ran to get it as soon as I saw what he was up too! Here is a 30 second clip!

  1. Better take those bumper pads out and put the mattress down QUICK!!! Thankfully Carter has yet to figure out how to get out of his crib! I’m hoping he’ll stay in until he’s two!

  2. That is just precious!! Hayden who is now 8 months tried that about a month ago. So down went the mattress! Our daughter never tried that. Boys will be boys. Thank you for sharing such a darling moment!

  3. Way to go, Ty Man! Doni, I see how he gets into everything…he is FAST and smart, too. I imagine he will figure out how to escape a lowered crib in no time. Did Tanner see him? I can only guess his response. Good luck!

  4. jennifer is right! he’ll figure out that lowered crib before the year is up. ๐Ÿ™‚ and who will be laughing then sister!!!!!!!!!!! ๐Ÿ˜‰

  5. All I can say is “PRAISE THE LORD!” Who would have thought that this little miracle who has been so prayed over would have the intelligence, strength, coordination, inquisitiveness, etc. to complete such a feat! Way to go Ty – we are so proud of you and give the glory to God for the things He has done!!!!!

  6. When Tanner saw it just now he said “Wow! Ty! Dat’s you! Dat make me lass all moring. Wanna call Becky see dat? Shree Shour Shive.” (Wow Ty – that’s you! That make me laugh all morning. Wanna call Aunt Becky and show her that? Her number is three four five)

  7. oh what ty has done for our tanner! tanner has more and more and more to talk about thanks to ty! and i have a feeling it’s going to stay that way for years to come. that little boy has blessed your family and the rest of us too in soooo many ways. thank you Lord for saying yes to bringing ty home to his mama & daddy & brudder. what a precious gift and we’re so thankful you said yes!

  8. just as I imagined! That is too funny! I hope you are keeping copies of all your video clips somewhere safe. They are priceless. You sould send this one to America’s Funniest Home Videos. Surely there’s never been anything more precious.

  9. Jennifer – my favorite hobby is making videos. I am in the process of making Brinkman Family Video Journals – one for each year. They are filled with video, still pictures, music, favorites, photo shoots….etc. Lot of work but too fun! All to say, don’t you worry, that clip will get a prime spot:)

  10. Ok, Doni, you motivated me…my Zachary’s videos are now proudly displayed on his website. I am sure you all are happy to hear that ๐Ÿ™‚

Now I am off to make my husband lower our crib mattress before my guy tries a stunt like that….there is no nice soft bed for him to fall on!

  11. I know this may be scarry but look at it as another mile stone. Way to go Ty. I can see you are not far behind anyother child your age. What a great boy.Keep it up but make the milestones safer ones. You poor mother is never going to relax now!
