Sickies

Please pray for my little Ty boy. Sure enough, Tanner gave his stomach flu to mommy. I was very icky sick on Sunday and now both Tanner and I have head colds. (What is it with this stomach and cold virus banding together? Sheeessh…one knocks ya down and the other stomps on ya). Ty was real sleepy yesterday and than both boys were coughing during the night. Ty feels like he has a fever to me right now and is really wanting mama today. This could be our first experience with a tough upper respiratory virus so I am a bit nervous about it and would appreciate prayers for Ty. Tanner is holding his own but still not himself and is getting miserable night’s sleep with all the coughing.

  1. i was concerned that this would happen and i know you were too! uggh… praying. perhaps you can cut it off at the pass with some cold meds… you know we had a bit of this same type of bug – started with tummies and ended up sinusy/coughy… weird! we are praying too.

  2. We are all pretty miserable still. Ty is still running a temp of about 101 and motrin doesn’t seem to help it much. His cry is sounding so bad I think he may loose his voice. I feel pretty miserable myself and both my kids sound worse than I do so I can only imagine how awful my baby feels.

  3. Prayers are coming from here too. Have you taken Ty to the doctors. Anytime Sage has had a fever that doesn’t go down he has had a ear infection. Also I am sure you are giving enough Motrin but I know sometimes we don’t and that might not help him, Sage weighs 20lbs and gets 2.5 ml. I sure hope they feel better soon.

  4. I’m holding my breath praying for little Ty right now. I know how odd and icky this season has been. You know how bad my little guy got I just hope that you dont go in that direction were doing much better now ,but it has been a month since weve been home. And about the amount of meds to give, I myself wasnt giving Tyler enough tylenol either and boy did I feel like a great mom when the Dr. explains thats why his fever wasnt breaking, I guess were always so concerned about overdosing that I was harming more by underdosing. I also hope both you and Tanner start feeling better soon. One more thing looks like you just had one amazing trip. You do such awesome work for all of us and the Lord. I thank you. You have allready blessed the world so much with everything you do…Your boys are so lucky to have you smile today and know that you are wonderful! ~Hugs and prayers~

  5. So sorry to read this post this morning. I was so worried that Ty would catch Tanner’s sicky bug (and I know you were too) We are praying for all of you in Virginia!
