Family Announcement:)

Belle is now the proud mamma to NINE black puppies!  Can you believe that?  She is doing a great job but Babe is going crazy and is apparently confused.  She keeps checking Belle’s puppies trying to figure out her responsibility to them.  Just being a good Auntie?

Now let me tell you why I have a satisified smile about this.  For years, Belle has apparently been infertile (or unwilling:).  I have felt sad for her every time Babe has had puppies because Babe is mean to her and won’t ler her anywhere near – talk about adding insult to injury!

When I realized that Belle was pregnant, I secretly was anxious to watch her tell Babe what for AND I hoped that she would have more puppies! LOL!!!!  (I know, I know, you are catching a glimpse of my very sinful nature here huh?)

Anyhow, Babe had 5 puppies last week and Belle did indeed surpass that number by nearly double!  HA HA!!!

P.S.  Anyone want a border collie/golden retriever mix puppy?  We now have FOURTEEN to choose from!!!  (These are Papa and Sweetie’s dogs by the way and no I don’t want any…two boys are enough for me at the moment!)
