Certain family members were not particularly pleased with me when I insisted that the First Look shots could not have a family audience.? Most of the time, couples prefer their “first look” to occur when walking down the isle but sometimes daylight is burning and the hour scheduled for the ceremony does not allow for daylight pictures unless they are done beforehand – ergo – First Look shots.? :)??? What fun to capture this moment as it occurred.

Then they just take each other in…so romantic.

Absolutely!!!!!! What a great way to capture the moment. As old-fashioned as I am and wanting the whole walk down the isle to see her…I must admit I don’t think there could be pictures that would be that personal, precious, private (well, having three cameras hiding :)) moment as this. They are just going to be estatic when they get to see the pictures!!!

we did the same thing- only I got the idea b/c the year before at my sister’s wedding when she came out for pictures everyone was standing around and the first time her groom saw her so did a whole bunch of other people- it was the most unromatic thing I have ever seen and I felt so bad for her that she didn’t have that moment. So I had Rick stand up at the altar alone (with the photographer hiding) and I walked up and when I was close he turned to me- I’ll never forget that moment and we have pictures of it because it was planned well.
