Lucy 7 Months {Phoenix Baby Photography}

This is my little niece Lucy. ??(Okay…technically she is my cousin but we have all decided to rewrite history a bit to make things less confusing. ??ACTUALLY she is Jenna’s niece (my assistant) and Jenna should get full credit for that. ?? I bought that crown for Tori for her five year old shoot (which I will be doing soon) but I thought it would look adorable on our little Lucy too (and I agree with myself – it did). ??Troy was sitting on my lap while I was processing these trying his hardest to say “Lucy”. ??He loves her.

Like her mama Jamie, she is very expressive.

I love her serious side! ??She gets that from her Daddy.

St. Patrick’s Day is coming for our little Irish girl!

I often do 6/7 month babies outside but it was pretty cold so we opted for an indoor shoot.

This is her “Everett” side. ??;)

I have no idea what that face is all about but I loved it.

I think one of my favorite things about the serious shots is that babies and children tend to get very wide eyed when they are serious and I love capturing those big round ojos.

Thank you Aunt Michelle for the use of the tutus.

I love baby feet. ??Sigh….

  1. SHe is delicious! I love all her expressions and also those wonderful, chubby cheeks. She is just beautiful!

  2. Oh my, oh my, oh my (picture me doing the “Everett” pose!!!!!!) I just told Jamie this morning when she dropped Lucy off that I hoped you would be able to hurry and show the rest of Lucy’s shoot, and my very wish was granted! Doni, these are absolutely amazing pictures. You so captured our little Lucy’s expressions, face, preciousness (is that a word?!) and more! Uncle Jarrod said that the funny pucker face is her “Cabbage Patch” pose (as Jamie had that same expression and we called her our little cabbage patch, or “Patty Catch” as Jamie so notably named her adopted doll!!) I can’t tell you which is my favorite – for I would say…every single one!!! I do think though as I scrolled down the page that the turquoise blue and green tutu popped out! But, I love the country bucket pic, the “Aunt Jemima”, and Dodgers (for Poppy) the Irish, the Sophie giraffe, ummmm have I mentioned them all yet???!!!! Oh I love that baby girl and thank the Lord for the gift of her given to her mama and daddy and all the rest of us who are her fans! Thank you for all the work you do and more importantly for the love that pours out of all your work. Every picture (related or not) shows your attention to detail, and bringing out the “character” of your clients. Well done my niece, well done. (Jamie and Shane – don’t you LOVE them!!!)

  3. Doni these pictures are wonderful! Thank you so much! We are so blessed no only to have a talented cousin to take these pics but to also get the time to spend together while taking these! You are so amazing! We LOVE you sooooooo much!

  4. Doesn’t Lucy look like an actual doll in the fourth picture down (the one with her “Adorable” pink shirt on and her darling Artic hat!!!)? I can’t help but stare at that one and she almost doesn’t look real. I think she should be the next Gerber Baby model!!! (Just sayin’!)

  5. oh my goodness…that crown is killing me! Little Lucy is TOO ADORABLE! Can’t wait to see Tori put her spin on it 🙂

  6. Too many perfect moments to comment on… u seriously got magic in thes moments… oh my my my… that’s one sparkling girl! (The crown? Ooo! I’m soooo jealous!)
