This is Gavin at 5 days and then again at 10 days. ??He gave me a run for my money! ??On day 5, Gavin decided that he was way too interested in his surroundings to sleep and if he was going to sleep, it was going to be while being cuddled. ??4.5 hours later, the match was called. ??Gavin 1 – Doni 0. ?? Well…not exactly 0, I did get a handful of shots out of those 4 hours. ??On Day 10, he wasn’t particularly up for being put down either but he must have decided to show me some mercy because he did let me get more shots than on day 5. ?? So 8.5 hours later…..

And he looks like he was just sleeping like a little angel doesn’t he? ??Such a beautiful little guy. ??You just never know with newborns. ??I have said many times that it is about quality of sleep more than quantity. ??Baby may sleep a lot but not sleep deeply. ??Those extra alert babes have a mind of their own. ??In the last several years of business, I have only had to schedule a newborn for a retake twice (Gavin included) so it doesn’t happen often but once in awhile I do get bested.

I can’t wait to see what Gavin looks like as he grows. ??He is such a handsome little fella with the prettiest skin.

This is older sister, Presley. ??It was so fun to see her again after doing her newborn pictures less than 18 months ago. ?? Such a cutie! ??I snapped this while brother was having a meal.

Getting a newborn and a small toddler in sync is no easy feat but I loved this shot of Presley and Gavin – we just had to chase her down a few times to get it (of course).
