This is my beautiful, long time friend, Michelle. ??I have long looked forward to this shoot. ??Michelle spent the last couple of years battling cancer. ??Cancer isn’t the story that defines her life…not by a long shot. ??BUT, as someone who deeply LOVES her, I felt honored to take part in the celebration of this new (cancer free) journey with her.

While the last couple of years have been filled with trials, there have been blessings too. ??Toby and Michelle fell in love and got engaged!
And J? ??She turned sweet 16 this month so we had to celebrate this too. ?? ??When I was pregnant with Tanner, Sweetie was babysitting for J. ??We were living with Papa and Sweetie at the time waiting for our house to be built. ??Each day when I would see this little beauty, I was praying that her ginger genes would rub off on the child I was carrying. ?? Her ginger is more strawberry today so maybe she gave hers away to Tanner. ??:) ?? J is the one who named my mom “Sweetie”. ??It stuck. ?? Love this precious girl!
