From now until Halloween, I will be sprinkling my blog with pictures of my Garden Fairy.?? I have a busy couple of weeks planned and won’t have much time for post processing, so I gotta make em’ stretch a bit.?? :)?? Tori was NOT the angel for me today that Micah was last week.?? She is HARD HARD HARD when it comes to modeling for mama.?? She wanted to run and play with her brothers and chase the “birdies” (chickens).?? I got way more mad and angry pictures than pleasant.???? I got a few that I really like but mostly I was pulling my hair out trying to get these.???? She loved her new tutu though!?? The hat??? Not so much.?? I think the flowers were itching her because she kept saying “OWWWWW!” before she would rip it off.
Shane (Jamie’s boyfriend) – who is a fun and funky guy and I am totally all for wearing “we love Shane” fan club buttons, says that I dress Tori like Punky Brewster.?? LOL!?? He is totally right.?? On Sunday she was wearing a hot pink sweater dress with polka dots, pigtails with polka dot bows, bold striped tights, and her high top converse.?? So cute.???? I was a teenager in the 80’s and I haven’t quite let go of it so now I just revisit it with an 80’s throwback look on my kids.?? Photographers can totally get away with doing that stuff.?? ๐
She is starting to say a few more words these days.?? She is saying “birdie” and “bok bok” for chicken.?? She says baaaa for spa (as baaa baaa black sheep).?? She told me to move this week.?? She sang a new song called “Mine Mine Mine” in the car today.?? It was very pretty although slightly narcissistic.?? :)?? And my favorite lately is when she calls her pacifiers “her babies”.?? As you have seen, she uses wub a nubs so she has a pink pony pacy, a cream kitten pacy, a red dog (that is missing – anyone seen him?), a black kitten (also missing), and a brown bear pacy.?? She likes at least two of them in bed with her and she calls them her “babies”.?? She has the whole family saying it now.
I love it when she sees me cooking and runs through the house hollering “Yay!!!!!?? Num Num!?? Yay!!!! Num Num!!!”
Have to get up early so I must go now.
P.S.?? The protected post was just a sign up list for a wedding shower Jodi and I are hosting.?? It was easier to use the comments on a blog post for sign ups then creating email confusion and I protected it because it didn’t seem the sort of thing to post publicaly.
P. S. S.?? The scam situation of this weekend – you can look it up on Snopes (search under *72).?? If only I would have!!!!
P. S. S. S.?? Been meaning to tell you!?? This is really important stuff that I am sure you have been on pins and needles about…the lady who walks the dog in the morning….I DID talk to her and the toys DO belong to the dog.?? I got real suspicious after the teddy bear was replaced by a toy truck and then later a stuffed monkey so I just had to stop and ask her.?? My curious nature kicked in – couldn’t help it.

i TOLD YOU the toys belonged to the dog!!! dog people know this stuff. ๐ (and even if the toys originated as a kids, if the dog has it – in his mind, it’s his. in his mind: if he looks at it – it’s his. if the dog smells it, licks it, touches it, thinks about it, trips over it, wants it, – it’s his.)
i LOOVE the way you dress tori – it is totally creative and i keep thinking that if i had a daughter i would have been way boring and wouldn’t have thought of your wardrobe combinations. i loove it. (now if i get to have a daughter someday, i have something else to copy from my sister. ๐ )
Funny thing Heidi – it seems toddlers have the same behavior patterns as dogs because you just described Tori hee hee. And oh the irony on the style thing huh?
How cute is that Garden Fairy?
LOVE this pic! And I LOVE how you dress her! Girls are so fun
oh you’ve got style sister… so much style! i love it!
dogs and toddlers – ABSOLUTELY TRUE!
