WHY

She still is not a big talker but Tori talks with her eyes so we aren’t missing anything.

If I were to form a word cloud of her favorite words, “Mom” and “NO” would dominate in huge bold letters.?? Sometimes “No” is “Mo”.?? Sometimes “Mo” also means “Move”.?? I LOVE the way she says “uh huh” (for yes) – she says it very girly.?? She also can say “ha ha” in a mocking tone (wonder where she learned that?) and “uh uh uh” (as in “no no no”).

She says “baby” all the time because that is what she calls her pacifiers still.?? Other favorites are:

* don’t

* MINE

* that’s MINE

* Hi

* Hello (we love the way she says hello)

* Ty

* Aaaaaaa (Tanner)

*?? Daddy

* I am still Mom Mom

*?? Bite

*?? Hey!

*?? Bye Bye

*?? Papa (universal for both Papa and Sweetie)

*?? Jenna

*?? Noah (she say’s Oh-Uh – she is in love with Noah)

*?? Ma (Grandma)

*?? Ice

*?? Up (which also means down)

*?? Owwww?? (anything she doesn’t like)

*?? Uh Oh

*?? Bee?? (learned this from the teeny tiny bee song but she also got stung last week)

*?? Peek a Boo (Beat a Bah)

*?? WHY???? (She learned this from Ty.?? This is her answer everytime I call her name.?? I think she uses it interchangeably with “what”.?? ๐Ÿ™‚

That’s all I can think of off the top of my head.?? Pretty short list considering she is 22 months but like I have said, she gets her point across just fine.???? She has been using words more every day too so I think she might be about to turn a corner on her talking.

She has a tail growing.?? :)?? Her hair is soooo fine that it all clumps together in the center.?? I love the whispys and putting her hair in pig and pony tails so I don’t want to cut it yet but I must admit that it is growing in quite strangely.?? I thought that she would have much thicker hair with her hispanic heritage but I am?? convinced that she is South American Indian so maybe that’s where the fine hair comes from.

  1. I love love love that last one!

    Devin’s list of words is fairly short as well and he’s 26mos, but he’s also a boy :). he is also picking up new words and making old ones clearer almost every day. Da Da is transforming to Daddy and it’s SO cute he still uses Da Da more often but when he says Daddy it’s so clear. The cats are now Mow’s he used to call them cat. and he’s been saying Milli (Mill-lli – it’s so cute) for a while and has just recently gotten clear on Jodi. he also says Bite, Mama, Bubba, Bye, Yea, Pow (Ligtning McQueen from CARS),Other cars are Vroom Vroom, other dogs are Woof woof, Pa for Grandpa, Jack (Jack’s big music show). I’m sure there’s more I just not thinking of. They all develope language at their own pace. It’s so fun to see things click and be able to communicate with them more and to see thier personalities come out.

  2. she is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO CUTE! (the hat is darling too – definitely a must have! good choice!) her little tail is cute… i too would have a hard time evening it out because the length would be hard to give up!

    i like beat a bah and how up also means down. a true girl – what i say means what i mean it to say. ๐Ÿ™‚ ha!

    i love you sister.
