Go figure. Two of my favorites are gone. Celine and Joe. I can’t speak to Joe’s performance this week as I didn’t see it (I would point my finger at a certain someone for this but my dad say’s that a nagging woman is like being nibbled to death by a duck so I’ll just let it go) but I do know Celina was not at the top of her game. HOWEVER, I am pretty shocked that she went before Jenay or Nadia. What’s up with that America???? Sheeeshhh…..
As for the guys, again….sad sad with the choices there. It is going to be tough every week with the guys though because I really like many of them. I don’t care for Nikko or Travis much so I will hope they go sooner than others.
The fun thing about this competition is that I am not sold out on anyone. It is a week by week thing and I can truly vote for whoever performed best that night. That’s kind of fun.
I am really really into Bo Bice though. I love his voice and I think he is a great performer. I guess I am a little Donny and Marie…a little bit country and a little bit rock and roll. Will I ultimately be more country (Carrie?) or rock n roll (Bo)? Hmmmmm….the things that keep one up nights;)…
Very curious to see how Bo will do outside his genre. It could go either way. If he fails, he will go. If he succeeds, he may very well pull into the top 5 at least. Am I being too optimistic?

doni, jim, and i had a long 3-way conversation after seeing the results of the show. if only the judges (AND AMERICA!!!) would listen in and give our opinions just a LITTLE more credit before they called in their votes! 🙂 hee hee..
i ditto most of what doni said above but the BIGGEST shocker of all was that janay is still in. i’m completely and utterly stumped by that one – not just a matter of style of performer/singer/musical taste issues here… i just don’t know what it was about her that america liked SO much – and so much more than aloha and celena… i’m truly truly stumped.
i’m also surprised about the guy choices. although i’m so glad the rocker crowd has a voice this year i’m very surprised that america liked constantine’s performance this week. i’m apt to believe the rockers kept him simply because he is a rocker. i feel very strongly that bo outshines him and will continue to – and would be VERY surprised if america does not make that obvious in next weeks votes… but what to i know….i was COMPLETELY off with what america decided this week!

Just emailed my hubby and told him I’d try not to be a duck today! LOL Poor guy. On another note my 13 year old has been checking your site for results. She’ll do just about anything to go undisturbed during AI! Have a great day

Well, well, well. This is part of the competition that just gets my blood boiling. I am shocked, like you all, who was voted off. This very same thing happened last year, & I remember telling my hubby “I’m never going to watch this show again!”. I lied. 🙂
What I keep telling myself is that there are numerous folks out there (good possibility it’s teenagers) who intentionally & purposely vote for the “bad ones” so some of the good ones will go. I think this was the case last night. And like I said, I think this happened last year too. This is where I think America voting is a big disadvantage. It’s so unfair to the ones who give it their all & who have so much potential to be really good singers. But, that’s what makes this a good reality show I suppose! 🙂
I won’t lie again & say I’ll never this show again. I just really wish America would vote fairly & not look at this as a chance to be mean, while laughing about it. I could be totally off base here, who knows. I will say this – I think that all four of them voted off showed great maturity & appreciation. I think they held their heads up high…kudos to them! 🙂
