1. Amanda – I really like her voice. She showed personality tonight though the song was not my favorite.
2. Janay – Well at least she dressed better. Sounds like a junior high talent show to me. How does she keep pulling this off?
3. Carrie – Weakest performance so far – not a good range for her.
4. Vonzel – Performance was good and she was fun but I thought she sounded “okay”.
5. Nadia – Just not impressed with her vocal talent but she is a good show girl.
6. Lyndsey – Loved her tonight. Much more powerful performance.
7. Mikayla – Not a good song to choose. Sounded just a bit off. Strong ending though and I agreed with Randy’s “fearless” comment.
8. Jessica – Like the sultry voice don’t like the sultry performance.
IF I would have been home I would have voted Carrie or Lyndsey tonight. Jim however, voted for Mikayala!!! Can’t leave that man home alone again!!! You all know I like Mikayala but she is NOT top 12 material. Jim defended that he was simply voting strategically. The plan was to get Janay off so he figured if he could contribute a vote to one of the lower rankers it would help ensure Janay was gone. Mikayla was not his top 12 pick, he simply wanted to make sure Janay was gone. Did his plan backfire? Get to that in the next posting!!!

LOL! Show will be on soon but I also have to watch ALIAS so won’t post results till after 9:00 my time. Plus I am having grumpy kid problems. You should have seen the Tanner Ty fight that broke out in the back seat of the car today over a plastic bag…sheeeshhh! Therefore, the boys are being a bit distracting tonight.
Oh the struggles of sibbling rivalry begin! Oh my! I’m not ready to face that struggle just yet. 🙂
OK – my review first and then I’ll post on the results… in overall agreement with you. Although, I thought Amanda was a little star – I was really impressed with her ability to handle the fast songs – some people are great at ballads but don’t know what to do with the upbeat stuff – she DOES!
Carrie – wish she’d have shown off more. I love her but she’s got more in her.
Vonzell – very cute “show” – better – but not my favorite voice.
Nadia – GREAT performer and DEFINITELY a young tina turner, who, by the way I think is the perfect description for Nadia as they both can perform the daylights out of many others but neither one has a great voice (in my opinion). Tina may be an icon but I’ve never cared for her voice.
Lindsay – MUCH BETTER vocally tonight – but she didn’t seem very natural on stage. that could change with time but i thought it put her at risk as she looked a little ameteur in her moves.
mikayla – agreed – off – she has way better stuff in her. and she is getting cuter to me
by the week, by the way. 🙂 she’s growing on me.
jessica – agreed – nice voice -too much skin! and there is also something strange about her look – reminds me of bet meddler – but figure if bet can make it and look a little strange but be a GREAT perform and vocalist – why not jessica? i thought america would get choosy on looks (vanity) but they didn’t – or they did but in the opposite way – maybe they liked the voice and the skin.
janay janay janay…. high school talent show – maybe. i do not know how she stayed this long.
