Little Patch of Heaven

David, Darin, Dustin, Papa and Sweetie, and yours truly are all facing an “envy” issue. Daniel and Brooke bought a new house and the rest of us are all just a wee bit jealous:)! When Daniel and Brooke first described this house to us, we were less than impressed. They bought a little ranch on 2 and a half acres in New River with a teeny tiny house on it (which they are expanding). The mental picture was lacking. When we arrived though, we found it to be truly a treasure. It is a boy’s dream come true for sure. It has chicken pens and a goose with a tiny caged pond, a goat pen, a pig pen, several horse stalls, an arena, outdoor office, separate play yard, wrap around porch, fenced off rose garden out the kitchen window, a garden with a scarecrow, a barn, a fountain, and even a courtyard with a built in grill and sink. So lovely and peaceful. Tanner keeps asking to go back to Noah’s house:). Also quite a bit of trouble that those two little rascals could kick up so we will have to keep our eyes on them. Their self appointed babysitter is a goat that came with the house:). Her name is Berniece and she follows the boy’s everywhere. Homer the pig was also part of the package. Earlier this week, Brooke and Noah were eating breakfast on their front porch and Noah said, “Mommy? Is this heaven?” LOL. Thus the name of the ranch…Patch of Heaven.

The pictures won’t do it justice but I think you’ll enjoy them anyhow:) If you hover over the pictures, you will be able to read the descriptions.
