If you live in Arizona and you happen to see this posting, News Channel 3 tracked down Jim today and came to our house for an impromtu interview. Sadly for me, I had not even had a shower and my hair was in a ponytail – nails chipped – pride pride pride. Will sisters in love be horrified? 🙂
Ironically (or sovereignly 🙂 ), Meredith, Ian and Ella were visiting at my house today so Channel 3 was able to interview two snowflake mom’s. They said they will plan on airing a clip between 5:00 PM and 6:30 PM tonight.

After talking with you last night on the phone, I struggled to get most of my kids to calm down, picked up the nearest baby and sat down to watch the news. It was short and simple, and I believe they gave you great justice. As you already know when it comes to the news, you have to know that they have a way of cutting alot of what is being said. Looks like you were one of the lucky ones. Both moms did an awesome job!!
Doni, some of us are wanting to know if your new found fame around the world is driving to the the thought of doing your own talk show?!?! LOL.
Actually Susie – they cut nearly every point of significance that I said. I wanted to discuss the bill and ESCR and they give very little air time to that. In fact, the parts they left in where primarily the fluffly human interest points (exactly what I wanted to avoid). Example, the conversation about Tanner’s red hair. That was a very insignificant point in light of what I really wanted to convey yet of course – they gave THAT point air time. I do agree that they were kind and fair and did give some attention to the political issue but I think most people would have viewed it as simply a human interest story and I am frustrated that the media will not repeat the heart of my message. As for the talk show…LOL. I am just a bit busy at the moment:)
