Pictures Updated

I added some really cute pictures of Karsyn, Zandi, and Zane to the June album if you want to check them out! Zandi was not in the mood to model so I have limited pictures of her.

I also added an album called “Tanner meets Pres GW”.

Have a happy Fourth of July!

  1. Good gravy! Cute cute cute! The kids are all adorable and the photography perfect! Well done sister. I can sure see the resemblance of the parents in these children – and they look just beautiful (and a little mischieveous too! 🙂

Those wings have come in handy haven’t they? Where’d you take the photos? The flower garden pictures look like someone’s bedroom with garden border done low – but I bet you made the set yourself. I’ve wanted to do that too and just don’t have the right place in my house for it… dreaming of coming to yours. 🙂 The fishing set was GREAT for a boy too – great idea. On the blur photos – did you blur them digitally or with camera settings (I have a good guess knowing you stay automatic most of the time)… just thought you could answer here so others could know too.

    Beautiful work! Beautiful models!

  2. awesome! It looks like Tanner has grown 10 inches! I wish you were closer and could teach me how to use photoshop. I know there are so many cool things I could be doing if I weren’t so scared of the program! Great job, as always. Love, Jennifer

  3. Thank you:). Heidi – you guessed right. I use gaussian blur in adobe photoshop. Easiest to do it in layers. Make a copy layer and blur the whole thing then erase the blur on the parts you want clear:). Very simple.

  4. Hello, I have been so impressed with your diary and photos of your children. When I look at the pictures of Ty as a newborn with all the tubes etc I remember a baby we were to adopt that was the biologogical sibling to our son Chris his birthmom had this sad feeling that her baby would not make it so she would not let me meet her. That little one went to heaven three weeks after her birth she Jessica Rose was a 25 weeker also. Your boys are truely gifts from god what an awesome and loving family you have I am also impressed by your commitment to Ty even as a tiny and sickly baby and for your love for his birthmom. God bless your family and best wishes.

  6. Terrie, I don’t know if you’ll get back to see responses to your note or not but I’m going to comment on Doni’s behalf breifly (without her permission – ha ha!) She has a section called photography and a search button within her journal page. Those are good places to start for some information on how she captures such beautiful pictures and digitally edits them. Lots of her readers have wondered about the same things as she is SO talented at capturing moments and then taking what she captures and making it even more beautiful and eye-catching… it starts with a great digital camera, TONS of pictures (it could take 70 pics to get 10 good ones and 3 great one, for example)… and then the help of some good editing software. Aside from that, it takes a great eye and Doni, though not formally trained in photography, has the heart of a photographer – a GREAT photographer. That is a natural ability that can only be learned to a certain degree if you ask me… you can take classes to learn but it comes naturally and instinctually for her – that’s a gift I’ve seen first hand from her (I know, I’ve had the joy of having her photograph my little boy and me! She’s just amazing!) Anyway – hope that bit of direction helps guide you to the right posts on the subject to get you started.
