Puppy Adoptions

Congratulations to Daniel and Candice!  They will be placing a brand new baby girl border collie/golden retriever into their ever growing family!  Score 2 points for this author who has effectively placed our first puppy for adoption!  (That should make you happy Jodi!  Aren’t you proud of me?)

Dusty will be taking one (so I am told) so that leaves 12 more available.  Any takers?????  Am I going to have to try to sell you on this?  Okay…I am not good at a sales pitch (Darin got those genes) but I will give it a go!

A few years ago, Babe and the Lil Tramp next door had a litter of puppies.  Daniel and Brooke adopted a precious little girl pup who they named Bird.  Daniel would tell you that Bird was the smartest dog on the planet and he was heartbroken when Bird was hit by a car.  Bird even spoke two languages.  Yes I am serious.  Daniel spent a great deal of time training the worlds best dog and when he adopted Ryland (his lab), he didn’t want his commands to be confused so he taught one dog English commands and one dog Spanish commands.  Bird learned both languages.  Truly amazing isn’t? LOL! (Personally, I was more amazed at Daniel LOL).  Daniel thought child rearing was going to be a breeze because he had nearly perfected the art of discipline and training with his incredible dog before Noah arrived.  His big sister simply shook her head and laughed.  Now Daniel shakes his head and laughs.  Bird obeyed much better than Noah! LOL!  I have no doubt Noah will learn to obey in more than one language and I also bet he will learn to command in both as well! (Have I mentioned how much I love my little munchkin lately?:)

So the point is, Babe and Tramp seem to produce incredibly intelligent offspring with wonderful dispositions.  I think at least 12 other families really need to experience the joy of adoption so I’ll be waiting to hear from you.

P.S. To Zack, Liz, and lil’ Grace….yes I will post puppy pictures just for Grace!:)
