These snaps were taken on “Decorating Day” on Monday.? The kids and I and Sweetie had a fun day (even if we were…uuuugghhhh…decorating).??? Glad I got a couple of pictures of Ty missing his 2 front teeth because his look has already changed since Monday.? He is now missing THREE front teeth.? The upper tooth on the left there….GONE.? It seems that Ty enjoyed the Tooth Fairy so much that he worked and worked at a tooth that was? ehhhhh heeeemmmm NOT loose and over the course of a couple of days, managed to pull it.??? I had to explain to Ty after that all about Tooth Fairy fine print and how she does not like to come for teeth that were not ready to fall out.?? IF there is a “next” time, that chic isn’t gonna show.? Grrrrrrr.?? (Note to Aimee – I think you might should share the finer print with my nephew Zane as well as he is likely to breech contract on this topic as well).
She just looks mischievous doesn’t she???? Today has been a good day (minus the red ink up and down her arms).
Who me?? YES YOU.
So my original idea flopped.? I bought the icing cans with the attachment pieces but turns out they are way too hard for kid hands (were not easy for adult hands either).? I decided to spray the icing onto paper plates and let them decorate their gingerbread cookies with paint brushes.? That worked out great!
Sweetie and I had to decorate as well.? :)?? Ty likes to eat the frosting faster than he can actually decorate.
He still has those baby cheeks doesn’t he?
Today I heard Tori say to Ty “You are a piece of pirate trash!”.? LOL.? Okay obviously she learned that from her older brothers but who knows where they got it from.??? The kids get in trouble around here for name calling and “bully” behavior (they all know that mommy hates bully behavior) but I couldn’t suppress my giggle to hear my two year old call my six year old a piece of pirate trash.? ๐
On a sweeter note…
Tonight in the bathtub we were talking about stuff and we got onto the subject of adoption.?? I have been introducing her story to her a little bit lately.? In our discussion, the topic of God came up.? Tori interrupted and said “I know God!? He is my friend!”?? It was so precious.? She said “friend” with her nose all scrunched up cute.
P.S.? I do dress my daughter but (a) she likes to alternate outfits throughout the day and is often in between and (b) no one in their right mind would clothe that child while she was painting with dyed frosting.? Just so you know…
P.S.S.? To those of you who received the frantic email in regards to the missing DSI – my hero honey found it this evening.? It was in the homeschool cabinet (of all places).? When I said “that was the one place I didn’t think to look” , Jim told me that Tanner and I are the absolute worst lookers he knows.?? Seriously though…how fair of a comment is that?? Who would look in the school cabinet?? :)?? At any rate, Tanner was breaking my heart with his tears yesterday so I am grateful that Super Dad came to the rescue.? Good man.? Good good man.
