My Growin Boy

Happy Birthday to my darling boy.? He is SEVEN!? Can you believe it?? I was giving Tori a bath this afternoon and Ty was sitting in the bathroom beside the tub with me talking my ear off about his birthday and I thought I would fire off a couple of quick birthday shots of him.? Don’t you just love? his toothless smile with THREE missing top teeth?? ๐Ÿ™‚

Jim and I made the mistake of letting him pick where he wants to go to dinner.? He decided on The Greek Pita pit.? That is soooo Ty.? For some reason, he begs us to go there every time we pass it.? He loves Veggie Pita’s so I guess he thinks the place must be great (we have never tried it and I must admit to hesitancy over the Greek part because I think I would NOT like lamb!)

I need to do a full shoot of Ty soon (as well as late Christmas pics of the trio) but this month is going to get ahead of me in a big hurry.? I am doing MUCH better now surgery wise but my fibro has kicked up a bit as a result of surgery.? Beating back the fatigue and muscle/nerve issues is my goal now.?? Time’s awastin’ though and I need to get busy!

  1. Happy Birthday Ty!

Give the greek restaurant a try – it’s not all lamb you can get chicken too and it’s super YUMMY! The grilled Pitas and Tzatziki sauce is some of my favorite stuff on earth! The salads are super yummy too.

  2. Happy Birthday Ty!!! And glad to hear you are feeling some better ๐Ÿ™‚ Hope you get your energy back soon and the fibro pain goes away! BTW – still LOVE Ty’s eyelashes!

  3. Happy Birthday Ty!! We do miss you and think of you often, Hope your day is as wonderful as you!! You are really growing up, where has the time gone. Love your pictures!!

  4. Slow down sweet one! Life does indeed become so hectic with schedules and deadlines (ok, so I’m not even commenting that one of those is the daunting prospect of you doing my oldest daughter’s wedding – oh wow does that seem weird to not only type but to think about!) but your health and recuperation and family is indeed more important. We will pray for strength and complete healing for you, just don’t rush it!!!

And TY!!!!! I think back to your early life and the pictures that your Mama had flying out to everyone for prayer – precious prayer. Your life is such a testimony to God’s amazing grace and unexplained miracle after miracle, along with scare after scare and many Mama rocking, crying and praying moments. Ty, we love, love, love you and wouldn’t change a thing about you. Looking at the world through your eyes and seeing the joy on your face at every fun experience (and seemingly “un”experience as we look) is beyond satisfying. Your enthusiasm for life and family and people in general is contagious and if only we were to llive more “Ty” we would all enjoy life to such an amazing degree! We love you little man! Happy, happy birthday!!!!

  5. um, have you noticed how much that middle picture looks like Tori?! WoW! Hard to believe it’s been 7 years. It’s time for me to go back through the TYny Ty journal ๐Ÿ™‚

I am taking meds for fibro now that pretty much are the only reason I can get out of the bed in the mornings. For the 1st time in my life I feel like I’ve actually been to sleep! Now if I could just get rid of the flu ๐Ÿ™

    Happy Birthday, Ty Man!
