I wonder what she was saying to him?? She is obviously violating his space but Tanner doesn’t mind.? I love the way he gently holds her little fingers.? Tanner loves to hold her little hands but she rarely allows HER space violated.? On her terms only.? She IS the boss you know.

She has taken to calling me “Mama Mia” a lot lately and I have no idea where she learned that from.? Makes me laugh.? I have learned that the baby doesn’t call you mommy as long because they copy their older siblings.? Tori calls me “Mommy” most of the time but she also says “Mom” and sometimes “Mama” (which I love).

The other day she was in my lap with her blanket and I said “Tori are you all warm and cozy?”.?? She says “Are you Brooke?”.? LOL.? Get it?? She thought I was calling her “Cozy” so I must be pretending to be her Aunt Brooke.

Last night Jim and I were trying to watch some shows.? “Trying” being the key word in that sentence.?? Tori stood by my recliner and kept saying “Mommy I have to tell you somefing.”? I asked Jim to (once again) pause the show and gave her a moment.? She jabbered on and on about her birthday presents (her birthday is Saturday but we celebrated with family last week – pics coming soon).? “I got a DSI for my birfday present and strawberry shortcake dolls AND……” (she loves the word “and” – carries on her sentences indefinitely).? When I thought she had exhausted herself I said “Are you finished telling me something now?”.?? And of course she replies “No”.?? She continues with her jabber.? Finally I say “Tori I think you are done now.? I want to watch my show with Daddy now okay?? I love you.? Goodbye.”? She stands there and looks at me and then says? “Okay.? I am not going anywhere.”?? (Pause).? “I will be RIGHT back”.? Then she brought her bedroom to me.? A plethora of purses and strawberry shortcake dolls, pillows and blankets got piled upon my lap.

I adore her.
