Our Kids Christmas – Keekles 5 of 6

Tori calls tickles “keekles”.

On Sunday I was getting Tori dressed for church in her bedroom.? Ty and I were going back and forth because he was stressed I was going to make him wear a “button shirt”.? Ty has a major button intolerance.? Most of the time, I don’t choose this battle but once in awhile I do ask that he wears a button shirt (and usually it is a Sunday).? Therefore, EVERY Sunday (even though 95% of the time he wears non-button shirts on Sunday), we have the same conversation.

Ty:? Do I have to wear a button shirt??

Me:? No.? A sweater.

Ty: (Gripe gripe gripe – complain).?? Well maybe sweaters have buttons.? Do sweaters have buttons???? (Gripe gripe gripe)

Me:? Ty!? NO!? Sweaters do not have buttons but you are using a disrespetful tone with me and I am tired of having this conversation.? You need to speak to your mom in a way that sounds respectful

Tori:? (While I am still talking…)? YA!? And don’t you DARE talk to ME that way!

That derailed my whole lecture because Ty and I busted up laughing at Mini-Me.? Is she like a co-parent now?? Good grief.
