I have loved taking Tanner out on shoots with me lately (and he has loved earning money!).? He is such a good sweet young man and it is such a privilege to spend time with him.? I took a couple of test shots when we were shooting Easton and I couldn’t toss them out because they are of MY boy.? My beautiful beautiful boy.?? I really need to do a shoot of my kids using that wall.? I really love that wall.? :)? Maybe when number 4 is six months.? Could I fit 4 kids in that space?? Hmmmmm….

While we were on this shoot, Tanner noticed a mama duck with six baby ducklings.? After Easton and family left, Tanner insisted I go check them out.? I got hung up shooting some pictures of pretty flowers while Tanner was tracking the ducks down.? Turns out, two of the goslings had fallen off a four foot wall and mama duck was frantically running back and forth along the top upset over the separation of her little ducklings.??? My young crocodile hunter thought a rescue mission was in order so we headed off the babies, captured them, and put them in the pond with mama.? Never have I seen baby ducks swim across the water that fast.? They were so desperate to get to their mama it was comical.? My dad used to raise birds when I was young.? I had a pet Golden Pheasant that I named Sweetheart and I also remember putting a loose rubber band with yarn around a duckling’s neck so that I could leash train it and teach it to swim in the plastic pool.? I also had a cockatiel that talked and the darn bird ended up driving me crazy.? Ironically, I gave it to an elderly woman named “Birdie” Green.? She loved Dizzy.? They were a much better match.? 🙂

I think dad would be proud to know that I recognize the duck in the lower right to be a Mallord.? 🙂

My Grandma Beth had the most beautiful flower garden when I was growing up.? She would walk me through it and point out all of her favorites calling each by name.? She would make me the best grilled cheese on jalepeno bread – I loved it.?? The beautiful flowers brought back such sweet memories of her.
