Being the little lobbyist that I am, I want to make good and sure that all of you following my website have the opportunity to see how your senator voted on HR810. WE WANTED THEM TO VOTE NO – NO EMBRYONIC STEM CELL EXPANSION. The house tried to override the veto yesterday but they failed 🙂 .
For all of us Arizona people, let me just say once again how much I DO NOT support McCain. I think he is a traitor to the Republican party and if the Republicans put him in the running for the presidential candidate I am going to be crying.
I have been asked many times about my thoughts on being a one issue voter. My answer is that it depends on the issue. If a candidate cannot respect moral law and human life than how could I trust them with anything else? Do I think these men and woman who voted YES should lose our support entirely? Yes I do.

Thank you for posting this Doni. Thankfully, my senator is Mel Martinez and he is very conservative– which is a miracle coming from South Florida! Thank God that President Bush used his veto. I can’t believe how much flak he has taken for it. This is a funding issue, not a legality issue! From the way people talk, you’d think he had banned it altogether. I wish that this research was completely illegal, but it isn’t, so I don’t understand why all these people who support this practice are so fired up. They can still do this heinous thing, but at least taxpayers don’t have to fund it!!

I’m with Jordan…. those people who want to do research on our abandoned babies are still getting to do it – how in the WORLD can they blame bush for protecting MY MONEY from supporting what I find so outrageous!

I’ll make this even easier for anyone wanting to contact their elected officials by including a link from the American Family Association’s link to elected officials. You can put in your state/zip code and get a form for a letter that will automatically send it to the group you check off to send it to. Can’t get any easier. There are also plenty of issues to vote on through their site or emails to sign up for to be alerted for big issues that you can send a pre-written letter to officials with (VERY easily… can also edit the letter template easily to add/change your personal comments into it for any issue).
