Troy – Day 11 – July 5th

Yesterday morning I left the house early to go to a Dr. appointment and was very surprised to see a layer of dirt caking every window of our cars.? Somehow, Jim and I managed to miss the whole worst dust storm in a couple of decades plus.? I had to wash every window of my car before I could drive.? Very weird.?? This storm did NOT help the allergy/asthma issue I am having.? Someone please remind me the next time (though I hope there isn’t a next time) I am in a hospital for any length of time that my lungs cannot take the commercial grade anti-bacterial.? I first noticed my allergy towards it when Ty was in the NICU.? The constant sanitizing aggravates my lungs and makes me cough.? The cough has been super bad this time and further aggravated by our dusty weather.? The Dr. put me on 2 different inhalers yesterday (symbacort and ventalin?) as well as zantac and claritan.? Trying to do anything to knock this out.? The symbacort seems to be making a difference.? Better today than I have been anyhow.

Baby is doing great.? Some chaos with getting the apnea machine (as usual – I always seem to have trouble with medical equipment companies) but it should be arriving soon.?? I am getting little to nothing done due to new baby but hopefully life will get a little more normal by next week.?? Well…maybe I don’t hope for “normal” – this is anything but normal and I love it.

  1. Wow thats alot of sand. I can imagine how people must be breathing. Not so good. Unreal. Love the new pic of the day ๐Ÿ™‚ Just wondered if you took any 4th of July pics, with you flags etc?? ๐Ÿ™‚ would love to see them ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. I think DME companies go out of their way to make life difficult for all of us. They haven’t quite figured out who the customer is. I hope you get the apnea monitor soon – I understand wanting the peace of mind. Troy is beautiful and I’m so happy for you and your family. ๐Ÿ™‚
