Finally an eye open shot!?? During Tori’s nap, Tanner and I took some shots of Troy today and mama was happy happy with how they came out.?? As I was processing all these pictures today, I couldn’t help but reflect on how much God invests in even the little details.?? As a newborn photographer, I prayed and prayed that I would get our fourth baby in time to do newborn pictures.?? I fought anxiety over the possibilities of baby being outside of my ten day window by the time we brought baby home.?? As it turned out, we got 7 extra weeks AND an incredibly (did I see INCREDIBLY?) beautiful baby!!!???? Out of womb time is out of womb time so he is a tough little subject to work with but since I have the opportunity to work on this bit by bit when I identify his sleepiest times, I get a bit of a leg up on it.???? This may be my favorite set of him yet.?? (And yes, I did get another new floor and I LOVE it!)

My mom and I went antique shopping in Prescott before the baby was born.?? I had my heart set on vintage coke boxes and sure enough – I found them.?? 🙂

Daddy was oooohhhing and awwwing over this one.?? (Okay Jim doesn’t actually do that but I think he wanted to deep down.?? He DID say that he couldn’t believe how beautiful he was and that is definitely an “ooohh” and “awwww” in the language of Jim.)

I want to go backwards and do some lite processing on some snappy sibling shots that I have taken over the last seven weeks but I just haven’t had a chance yet.?? These were taken with Ty this morning.
These were taken tonight at 10:00 PM.?? I can’t get good wide eyed day shots because he is too sleepy still.?? He wakes up at bed time.?? Nice huh??? I shot these on my bed using a speedlight bouncing off the ceiling.?? Not my lighting of choice but I wanted Heidi to see that he IS awake once in awhile.
It is 11:44 PM and he is still awake.?? :(?? Hoping the swing will do the trick so I can go to bed soon.?? I just want to stare at him all day (and I pretty much do – you should see my house – yikes!)
