A sweet client of mine gave me this Tummy Tub from http://www.tummytubusa.com/ and my little Troy seems to really like it.?? These tubs are made in such a way that they recreate the womb environment for bath time and make baby feel more secure.?? They also are designed to be tip proof (if baby is seated at least).?? The website says many NICUs in Europe use them for preemies but also show that you can have much bigger babies in them as well.?? My favorite way to bathe baby is to put him in the tub with me and lay him on my chest as it is such sweet baby love time but for the times when that isn’t convenient, I am finding the tummy tub to be a nice alternative.?? (Grandma was helping me out with these shots – that is her hand on baby).
His little body looked so precious all curled up in the womb like tub that I had to get some shots of it.?? Could he even get any cuter?
On a sidenote…
I have had to use olive oil and a fine comb to get the cradle cap out of his hair THREE times now and it just keeps coming back.???? Tori makes me giggle with this because she calls it “Getting the nuts out of his hair”.?? She hates nuts so often refers to anything she thinks is yucky as “nuts”.?? 🙂
P.S.?? I am OH SO THANKFUL to share that my 1200.00 lens is okay!!!?? It was the UV lens that was shattered last week.?? My pro lens survived.?? THANK YOU GOD!

Setting:?? Earlier in the day, Tori asked to use kid markers to color a picture.?? I let her but gave her very specific guidelines which included protecting her cute white shirt.?? At bedtime, I noticed marker on her shirt.
Me:?? Tori!?? I told you this was going to happen!
Tori:?? Okay.?? (Pause) Mommy.???? I was getting a drink of water and it spilled on me.?? (Insert pause.?? Opens eyes very wide and serious like).???? And then it turned BLUE.?? (Pause)?? That happened.
I am going to nickname my daughter the “Yarn Princess”.???? I think my very favorite part of her spun story was the serious emphasis on “that happened”.???? I tried to hold my laughter in.?? I failed.

Ok LOVE the first two pics, but my sci-fi brain got the best of me when I saw the third picture! LOL! It looks like you are growing babies in plastic cacoons:) I think quinn would like that tub, she is still unsure of laying in the water. It might have to do with two older sisters leaning over her!
that is a great tub! I can totally see how a baby might feel more secure in a tub like that. Troy is absolutely beautiful! Seriously takes your breath away kind of beautiful!
