On our staycation in January, we went to the zoo.?? We had such a fun family day.?? I don’t often take pictures when we go on family outings but I am trying to get a bit better about it and I took a lot on this particular trip.
The Wildlife World Zoo and Aquarium is a great small zoo. I actually prefer it over the larger Phoenix Zoo.?? The Aquarium they added in the last couple years was a great addition.?? We ate at Dillon’s BBQ and the food was really good.?? I particularly liked the children’s fries which were different than the adult ones.?? I had a french dip I think and Jim had a Cajun styled BBQ pork that was really good.?? We sat out on the patio and watched the flamingos while we ate.?? Such a nice day.
The kids favorite part was feeding the parakeets.?? It was TOO funny.
Not everyone can appreciate a bird on the head.
This was a rotten snapshot in terms of light but I couldn’t delete it because Tori being mad at her brother was too comical.
So that was the story of our day.

Doni, don’t you still have to pinch yourself – 3 boys and a girl? Isn’t God AMAZING! I can’t stop smiling looking at them all (however, I am on Tori’s side and was getting chills just thinking of those birds flying around me and then landing on their heads!!!) Do they have monkeys there too? Your photography shots with those birds was amazing!
I never want to see those Ty and bird pictures again!! Horrifying!
