Sorry I am late in posting this for those waiting.
Ferris has been in rehab for over a week now.?? His leg is healing pretty well all things considered but they are having trouble thinning his blood.?? Due to the blood clot issue, (I believe he is up to 8 ), it’s very important that these blood thinners take effect and so far they have been unsuccessful with getting them in range.?? He did get a half day pass last week to be with his family though and that made everyone very happy!!
He has officially lost his job due to this though because FMLA only covers 12 weeks and he will be unable to work for at least 6 months.?? The family needs a lot of prayer in regards to how they survive this tragedy financially.?? There are no easy answers to this one.
BUT…there has been some GREAT news!?? As of last Friday, Landen was RELEASED from Hospice care!!!!!!?? YEAH!!!!!!?? This is a??huge step for him!!!????To keep things in perspective, he is still having a tough time of it..in fact the paramedics were there last night due to a very bad episode but he isn’t having??nearly as many life threatening episodes as he was last month.?? He is not ready for surgery still but this is definitely a step in the right direction so we will take it!!!!?? Thank??you for your continued prayer, love and support.??

Thank you Doni for keeping all those who love and care for my family in the loop of things. It means a lot to Ferris and I. To be able to have so many reach out in support and concern for our family. I would love to be able to find the words to express the peace we have gained and carried through this journey, the Lord is making his promises known through all of these wonderful people. I would be a fool to ever doubt or become blinded to HIS eternal love. Our family has been lifted by so many and have recieved the greatest blessing of knowing that we are not only loved, but that we are never alone. Friends who not only believe, but live by example, friends I want to know the rest of my own days, friends who share thier own testimonies through words and actions. You all are in our hearts and mean so much to us. Thank you for all you do and say.
(sorry susie… you aren’t stuck with us for the rest of your days…. your stuck with us for all of eternity. 🙂 hopefully in the same heavenly neighborhood.) 🙂
Susie, I am so proud of you. None of us can even begin to imagine the daily struggles you are going through, but to read your response and watch the amazing way you are walking through these trials is such a godly example. You are allowing God to receive the glory everytime you turn to praise Him. I am so extremely proud of you!!! I know we don’t see the nights you feel like giving up, or the times you feel like you can’t make it through – BUT…your external praise is an example of your internal heart. Out of the heart comes the truth, and you are walking in truth!! Susie, we can’t but watch anxiously to see what God has in store for you and your family. I’m counting on great things! I’m counting on all this to not only work out for all of your good, but exceedingly, abundantly over what we can even think of! God is good ALL the time, ALL the time, God is GOOD!
