Precious

He is so beautiful isn’t he??? He is getting more frinkles this year too and I love them!?? Tanner is doing so good with his K-garten work this semester.?? I am very proud of him.?? He is also starting to enjoy AIT a bit more.?? He ran a quarter mile in 2.25 minutes and that was after running an 1/8 of a mile to the bathroom LOL.?? Such a dollie.?? Today at lunch he had nachos and I wanted them but couldn’t have the carbs so I made mine with hot dog rounds instead.?? He said “Mommy did your Dr. say you can’t have flour?”?? Funny the things kids listen to that you never suspect they would retain.??

Yesterday at church Papa almost got me in trouble.?? I have noticed that people often believe that preachers have inside information and are using their platform to address their sins publically.?? How often has someone asked me “Did your dad know that I blah blah blah because he was looking right at me this morning during his sermon?”?? And I always say “No…he did not custom tailer his sermon and direct it at you this morning.”?? This week it was Tanner that cast the accusation.?? He committed a misdeamoner against his brother this week and he got in big trouble for it.?? Papa mentioned this particular transgression in his opening devotional and asked all the kids if they ever “blah blah blah”.?? Those that were in church know what the context was but I won’t write it on my blog – forgiven and forgotten:).?? When Papa said this, Tanner’s little head swung around quick as a wink and these big baby blues drilled into mine.?? I was at the back of the church trying to??mouth “Tanner I didn’t tell him!”?? Pretty funny actually.?? He asked me today why we go to church so much (asked innoncently not in a complaint).?? I said that Jesus taught us that we should not forsake the assembling of ourselves together to worship Him and we need to obey (Heb 10:24 and 25).?? In addition though, I told him that the King of all the Universe created him for a specific purpose and if He invested that much in us, I think we better love and honor him.?? He gave me a cute little grin and shook his head in complete agreement.?? I love those teaching moments.?? I hope with all my heart that my boys want to please the Father’s heart all their days.

Ty

Post the biting incident of a few moments ago, both boys are in bed.?? I think I will head that direction too – guess this is a sleepy day.?? I will make the rest of this post quick.

I giggle when Ty say’s “See ya mommy.?? See ya later.”?? Generally said when he is trying to get rid of me because he thinks I am about to interupt his fun.

“What are you doing Ty?”

“I am just figuring this game boy out?”???? ๐Ÿ™‚

When I picked up Ty at BSF last week I was a bit embarrassed when he loudly proclaimed “Hi Mommy!?? THANKS for coming back!!!”?? Nice one.?? I sheepishly dismissed myself.?? (And no, of course I never made any kind of threat like that – not even joking.?? Don’t ask me why he said that with a great big smile.?? I think he is just a bit ornery sometimes ๐Ÿ˜‰ !

And the most hysterical of the week – to JIM.

Picked him up out of his crib yesterday morning and then I crawled back in bed with Jim.?? Ty of course followed and climbed all over us jabbering all the while.?? After a bit, he leans down close to Jim’s face and very sweetly say’s “Daddy you are so precious to me.”?? My heart melted.?? I have never heard anything so endearing come out of the mouth of a babe.?? Then…without looking up and in a soft but commanding tone, he say’s “Mommy get me breakfast“.?? Poof – the moment vanished:) .?? Jim thought that was hysterical.?? I thought it completely unjust.??
