  1. Texas, shmexas… I don’t know what this ‘braum’s’ thing is Heidi, but NOTHING, and I do mean NOTHING can compare to Baskin Robin’s German Chocolate ice cream. As soon as I got the text, I headed out for a pint!! In fact, last year when it was available, I bought a five gallon bucket of the stuff, and our whole family shared it for around 3 months.

    Who’s jealous now? ๐Ÿ˜‰

  2. To be honest – I’ve never been overly thrilled with Braum’s!!!! ๐Ÿ™‚ Doni was only jealous when she heard I had German Chocolate from there one day… it was the flavor, indeed, NOT the location!!!! But, in this small city, it’s all we have. We went there today actually! ๐Ÿ™‚

Fortunately for me, we’re headed to the east coast and are likely to have MANY WONDERFUL CHOICES FOR ALL SORTS OF AMAZING TREATS!! WOOOHOOOO!!!!

And for THAT REASON ALONE, I’m not all that jealous of your ice cream Jarrod… if I were to be stuck here with only Braum’s as an option much longer, I’d send you a bottle of my tears every time I read about places like Baskin Robbins, Cold Strone Creamery, Marble Slab… oh dear….. ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. (Doni, I came here to tell you that we had Braum’s today and I had a scoop of the German Chocolate and was thinking of you. ๐Ÿ™‚ Jarrod sidetracked me… ha ha!)

  4. wait a minute… IT ACTUALLY TOOK YOU 3 MONTHS TO FINISH THAT 5 GALLON BUCKET? I’M THINKING 3 WEEKS – TOPS. ๐Ÿ™‚ HA HA!!!! (good thing I wasn’t around then, huh?)

  5. Let me clarify – I have had an occasional German Chocolate Flavor in different brands and Cold Stone makes their own version BUT they are NOT the same as the Baskin Robbins brand. So Amanda? Did you try the BK brand???? ๐Ÿ™‚
