Every time “Mary Did You Know?” comes on during the holiday season my honey grins at me. ??For years, I have been OVER IT. ?? There is a bit of a back story there that I won’t get into but suffice it to say that is one of my least favorite Christmas songs.
That being said, I watched a video this morning (by CeeLo Green) that really moved me. ?? I watched it out of??curiosity??because I wouldn’t have predicted this project for CeeLo. ?? Absolutely beautiful.

Wow, I LOVED THIS! The images were fantastic and I have to say, I absolutely adore the song sang with a male lead……goes to show we can’t judge a book by its cover. I never would have thought CeeLo would sing this but it is beautiful!!!
Beautiful. It’s funny that you don’t like the song. I’ve always liked it from remembering you (I think) and Heidi singining it at different times during our twenties.

Doesn’t surprise me too much ceelo would do this bcause many r&b artists have roots in gospel music & church,& regardless of their choice of message in their most current mainstream platfom, Jesus. &gospel tunes make their way thru sometimes.
That said I am surpris ed at how beautifully the vocal were perform d. Of course the video made me cry. It was a lovely overview of our precious saviours life and the tie a mothers heart will always have to her baby no matter their age.
