When I was in the first grade, my friend Stacy Weiss lost her two front teeth.?? Both at the same time.?? I was so envious.?? I prayed that I too would be the proud recipient of a??double gap toothed??smile.?? But alas…it was not to be.?? I lost them one at a time and was plenty disappointed.?? It just wasn’t the same.??
On Wed, I took Tanner to the dentist to have him look at the “snaggletooth”.?? Jim said I couldn’t call it that but I don’t know what else to call it.?? His baby tooth was protruding so much it was cutting his lip.?? I was concerned that the overcrowding was going to cause??bigger issues for his permanent teeth.?? The Dr. did an X-ray and then said “Well we might as well pull both because in a month you will be back in here with the same issue with the other tooth.”?? Then he asked me if I was okay with pulling both top teeth.?? As he asked this question, a vision of my past rose up in my minds eye.?? Yep.?? :)?? You guessed it.?? Stacy Weiss.?? I very quickly said “Pull em both!”?? ๐
He looks so adorable and I think he knows it because he has been flashing me that brilliant grin all week.?? I am begging him not to let his permanent teeth grow in too fast.?? :)?? He thinks I am silly.?? I think he is even cuter than Stacy Weiss.?? ๐
(This makes number 3 and 4 that he has lost now.?? The first two he lost in August/September).

GOODNESS! WAAAAAY CUTE!!!!!!!!!!
So cute!
I was one of those lucky ones who had both the top two teeth missing and at Christmastime no less. You bet I was singing the song “All I Want For Christmas”. I also remember those 2 teeth taking forever to come in.
Our little Tanner is something to behold. Not only is he absolutely adorable, but has such a sweet spirit. What a fun picture to capture. Your children will never ever be able to say or think that they were not loved. You celebrate every mile stone with them and are creating great memories for their future spouses (should the Lord tarry – which I for one hope that He comes tonight!!!!!!!)
Tanner is the cutest little guy. Go Tanner. Enjoy the fun.
What a cutie!!!
My Luke has a double gap smile right now, too, and I think it is precious! ๐ Our boys are growing up too fast!!!
