Happy St. Patrick’s Day

??

I just LOVE this collection!?? I am going to number these pictures because, if you are in a “commenting” type of mood, I am curious as to your favorite.?? Speaking of comments…I really do love the sweet comments I get on this blog and wanted to say THANK YOU.?? I backup all these posts so that I can do something with all these diaries someday and the comments of family and friends (and online friends and lurkers too ๐Ÿ™‚ will make for such fun reading for my kids someday (and me too).?? So thanks.

I have been trying to break up the pictures into groups of 5 or 6 over several days because posting such a large amount is kind of anti-climatic (LOL) BUT posting St. Patrick’s Day pictures AFTER St. Patrick’s Day may be anti-climatic too so this time I thought I’d post them all together.

Note to Auntie Christine: Anytime you see a picture you love that you want a digital copy of, just let me know which one on which blog post and I will email a larger size to you.

When I was growing up, my mom always made a corn beef dinner and dyed our morning milk green.?? :).?? I am following in her footsteps and also adding green cupcakes to the day’s menu.??

Jim is teasing me about making so many bows! He wants to know where I am storing them all.?? ๐Ÿ™‚

#10 – This is that picture I commented on yesterday.?? I just love how Tanner looks like he is thanking God for Tori.?? I so love this picture.?? It just really “captures” the sentiment.

#11 – Awwwwww – isn’t my Ty so precious??? He still has those darling cheeks too.

#12 – Ty gets a little bored with my photo shoots but he hung in there pretty well.

#13 – There’s Ty’s one in a million smile.

#15 – This might be my favorite

#18 – Can’t get enough of that smile and the top tooth has already broke skin so I have to take a lot of pictures before this “look” is gone forever.

#19 – Now Tori is bored.?? ๐Ÿ™‚ – Another picture I love.

#21 – It will probably be quite some time before I manage all 3 sets of eyes on the camara but all in all…I still consider this series a success.??

  1. Oh Doni! These are fantastic!!! Your kids are beautiful!!! My personal favorites are 13, 18, & 19. Such precious little children! I’m surprised you get your kids together to make one picture! It takes us about 30 minutes to bribe my 2 yr old onto the set! Also, update on us: I had a hysterectomy last week. I can’t tell you how great I feel! I’m sore from the surgery, but I feel so much better. And…I lost 8 lbs as a result too! My uterus was full of fibroids and I had endometriosis. Just thought you’d be interested. Have a great weekend!

  2. Doni ~

Gosh I really need to start doing this with my Camera. We spent good money for the canon rebel and i just don’t use it as much as I should.

As for my favorites I would have to say 11, 13 and 19. I love Ty’s face in 11, its all in the face on what he was thinking “isn’t there something i can be doing that would be so much more fun” LOL I have plenty of those picture with my kids. Thanks for sharing!

  3. Doni – Must. Have. Dress. Where did you get that again? I just love it! I need to take some pics of my little Irish/Scottish girl this weekend all dolled up like her BFF!! ๐Ÿ™‚

I LOVE #15 (as you do), and also #20. #11 of Ty is just beautiful! Love that guy! Oh, and where’s #14? ๐Ÿ™‚

Beautiful pics, but even more beautiful kiddos!!

  4. Kristi – she is wearing it today and it so cute. The dress is at Carter’s and I bought it at the Carter’s at the Anthem Outlet. If you go there though, there a couple of things I need. Do you want to call me first so I can give you my list and then I’ll pay you LOL? As for 14….oops.

And Jere – I no longer use the digital Rebel (though I loved that camara). I have a Canon D30 now. ๐Ÿ™‚

  5. Doni, I don’t think I have ever posted a comment but I have followed your family’s story since Ty was in the hospital. I am Courtney Atnip’s aunt.I have prayed for your family over the years & am so happy for you all now. Tori is so precious!!!!!What a perfect addition to your beautiful family.I love the bows-keep making them- you are doing an amazing job. My favorite is #15 also. It captures that sweet sibling bond and those boy’s eyelashes are like none I’ve ever seen before!!!! Love his smile/laugh in the one before too. What a miracle he is!And sweet Tanner-strikingly handsome in them all.How lucky they all are to have you & Jim as parents.Wish I’d taken pictures like these when mine were little- they are 24,22&18 now. It goes so fast.Tanner is quiet and sweet like my oldest daughter and Ty similar to my second daughter- full of spunk, humor and personality. My last is a boy- so I have the reverse of you. But that 3rd one is usually a little more laid back because they have to go with the flow. Thanks for sharing your darling family . xoxo Susan

  6. I really love number 1!!!

    And also #15, #11, and #16,#!9 and 21!
They are all beautiful. That green background makes me want to use a chroma key program though! lol.

  7. That is exactly what it is actually Sammie. I bought a green screen though I think it is difficult to manage because you really have to have it perfectly lit to really work. In this instance though, I wasn’t using it for screening – I wanted the color for the Irish holiday :).

  8. 2, 3, 4 6 11 15

i especially liked 4 because it highlight’s tori’s smile… love tanner’s feet out in 2, the kiss in 6, ty’s face in 11… ALL of tanner’s gorgeous TOOTHLESS grins! ๐Ÿ™‚

  9. How is it possible to try and choose. I love them all!!! Ok, if I narrow it down, these are my absolute favorites: #4 I love how it looks like Tori is looking up at Tanner – love it. #8 Tori’s sweet head and darling green bow. #10 Tanner’s prayer. #11 Ty – oh my gosh, I love his face! #13 all three but with Ty’s michievious face. #15 family pose. #20 because of Ty’s hand resting on Tanner – again….I just love that pic. What precious blessings. Good photo shoot, I love them.

By the way, I still say St. Patrick’s Day is on the 17th, always has been, always will!!! ๐Ÿ˜‰

  10. I absolutely LOVE all the pics, too hard to choose one over another. I too have red hair and am all for the green, my fav. color. Tanner looks great in the green. Thanks for sharing. Love them all.

  11. I love them all – but # 15 and 18 are my favorites. You have three beautiful children!!

    Shauna

  12. Great job, Doni! My favorites are #4, 15 and 19. Can’t leave out #13 for Ty’s precious smile and #18 for Tanners. My son Hayden has a toothless smile right now, too and I am so in love with it also! How lucky the kids are to have you capturing and documenting milestones so well. Thank you for sharing.

  13. #1, #15, & #20 are my favorites. How cute in #20 the boys are just being little buddies and Tori’s yawning. They are all such little lookers in their own ways. Too cute! Love them and I love Tori’s dress ๐Ÿ™‚

  14. So hard to decided, but I think my top four would be 11, 13, 21, 7.
You can really tell she has put on some good weight, is she still on the 26 calorie diet?
I know you love the color green for Tori, but the color green also looks soooooo good on her. Tanner and Ty are growing up so fast, hard to believe how time moves.
