Honey Bunny 2

It is 12:34 AM and I better get to bed before I have to get back up for another feeding. I stayed up late to make a bow to match Tori’s Easter Dress. ๐Ÿ™‚ Several months ago I had my niece Karsyn over night. (She calls me Aunt Sweetie instead of Aunt Sissy ๐Ÿ™‚ ). I didn’t factor in “girl hair” time when I got her up for church and I had no idea what to do with it. I was shocked later when I found out how much earlier Jodi gets up just to get Karsyn ready! With boys you just Got2B Glue it and go! At the time I thought to myself “I really doubt I will sacrifice that much sleep over hair”. And so here I am up past midnight making a last minute bow….sigh…happens to the best of us I guess. ๐Ÿ™‚

We are not attending our usual Easter festivities tomorrow because we are still under house arrest but Grandma and Grandpa agreed to stay home and have us come visit them for Easter so the kids can hunt Easter eggs and I can put Tori in her dress. ๐Ÿ™‚ (We usually go to a very large family gathering out at Brooke’s parents ranch).

Poor Dusty may not be attending Easter festivities either. He had an emergency appendectomy this week. Michelle is babying him like you wouldn’t believe and you can just guess what the baby of the family thinks of that :). He is happy as can be (the perkaset is helping) ๐Ÿ™‚

Hope you have a wonderful Easter celebrating our risen King. HE IS ALIVE!

  1. POOR DUSTY! (Well, sort of, there is the Michelle factor! Ha! ๐Ÿ˜‰ Glad he has someone to dote over him. Bless you Michelle!) I do NOT like hearing of emergency ANYthing in your family… good gracious you guys must have a whole troup of angels on watch. I’m so glad it wasn’t worse though.

I love that you get to be the mommy who stays up late and rises early just for bows and girl hair. What a dream FINALLY come true! Sometimes I’m overwhelmed with emotion for you – other times it hardly seems real and I have trouble even envisioning the change since I’m so far away! We must remedy that in the next couple months. ๐Ÿ˜‰

The Easter scrapping is turning out SO pretty. There are so many GIRLIE options with Easter scrap colors, papers, elements and such… perfect for your tiny little bird. ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. The Easter pictures of Tori are just adorable. It doesn’t “feel” like Easter today, I got to go to church but didn’t feel good enough to go out to the Morris’ so it has felt a little sad around here. Jenna got to go as she is staying the night at the Fletcher’s so I am glad that she didn’t have to miss out! I’m glad we got to “see” Tori, now we need to “see” the boys on Easter as well!!!!

Happy Easter to you, we really miss not being together!!!!

  3. I think you are going to need to start an internet bow business just to buy all the awesome girl clothes you’ll need if you change her clothes 2+ times a day! I know I’d need a 2nd and 3rd job if I had a daughter. Oh, the dolls and bows and dresses and ribbons… Little girl clothes are so cute! I got a catalog in the mail a few days ago with mother/daughter outfits and thought of you. I wish I could remember the company name. LOVE the pictures & especially love to see your digi-scrapbooking! Are you still going to do video-scrapbook?

  4. Jennifer – I ONLY do DVD scrapping. That is what these digi scraps are for. I have so many pictures that I have to work on them as I go because by the time I get to making the DVD memory albums, it really helps if I have most of the work done. I am simply resizing the pictures I have done for my DVD albums to post on the web but the DVD album is the primary purpose of these pictures. I don’t print them. ๐Ÿ™‚ And you are right…I may need a second job LOL.

  5. I gotta tell you, I never thought you would be a “bow” mommy!!! But I think it is so sweet how you’ve been making her all those beautiful bows to go with her outfits and changing her clothes several times a day! You finally got your girl, so you should enjoy all the girlie things that come with it. I’m loving it!!!

  6. Actually Aimee I was researching bow websites before Tanner was even born. This isn’t a new love since having a girl – I am actually surprised that my bow habit has surprised any of you because this has ALWAYS been my intent :)! I just FINALLY get to put my girl “plan” in action LOL!

  7. Well your bows are absolutly beautiful and they look so good on your beautiful little girl! I would love to know how you make them. I have tryed to find nice bows already made and they just arent out there, that I know of!

  8. Now that I think of it, I remember when you first did Zandi’s newborn pictures you had her wear one of the bows you bought for your future daughter! LOL!

  9. I love the new look Doni!

I just wanted to let you know I left an award for you over at my blog!! Happy Spring!!

    Love,
    Angela
