Sorry. I bet you were hoping “Sneak Peek” meant I was posting pictures of my brand new nephew Ryker. :). Jodi is due on the 15th so he should be showing up any time now but so far he is still in the oven. He needs to stay in there through tomorrow – preferably through Sunday. Tomorrow we are celebrating Karsyn’s 3rd birthday and Sunday is Tori’s baby shower so we don’t have an open family schedule until Monday. 🙂 Think he cares? I have to admit to hoping he is born with jet black hair like Darin. Wouldn’t pictures of Ryker and Tori’s heads be cute? On my side, Tori is baby number 9 and Ryker will be number 10. Of all the cousins they will be closest in age. They will be born 2 months apart but had Tori come on time they probably would have only been 3 weeks or less apart.

The picture above is a sneak peek at Tori’s nursery ensemble. The fabrics came in and Grandma started working on the nursery TODAY! She is on the clock because she goes back to Chicago next month so we have to get her room painted and all the sewing done quick. (Like my usage of the word “we” – 🙂 ).

The main fabrics are the polka prints but being quite eclectic with my tastes, I couldn’t stop there. I found several nurseries online in similar pattern collections but none of them were quite “it”. My MIL and I have planned this over and over and I think our end product will be just what I hoped for. My MIL is so talented and I am so grateful that she is willing to use that talent to brighten my world. 🙂 🙂 🙂
