He is here! He arrived at 1:48 PM today and weighed in at 6 pounds 11 ounces (one ounce smaller than Karsyn was and the exact same birthweight as Aunt Sweetie 🙂 ). He is doing wonderful as is his mommy. Jodi had a very good birth experience though I won’t share the details because I would rather her get to share his birth story when she has a chance. I had to get home with Tori before his bath was done so all pictures are pre bath. I will be returning to the hospital this evening to take more pictures after he is all cleaned up. I know that several people are waiting waiting waiting on these pictures though so I wanted to get something posted quick – especially for Aunt Jenn who is “stuck” in Hawaii…can a person really be “stuck” in Hawaii I wonder? 🙂
Feel free to oooohhh and awe! Jodi will love it! We can’t decide who he looks like. I think he has Karsyn’s eyes and Jodi’s nose. The lips are gorgeous! Check out the color! His hair looks similar to Karsyn’s. Jodi thought she caught a “Graham” moment and I can see Daniel as a newborn. Sweetie thinks she see’s Chase. ???????? We shall see. He is SURE cute though and so alert!

And before you say it…yes Jodi looked this beautiful the whole time. She never even broke a sweat! The epidural was honestly the worst part of the whole ordeal. 🙂 What an honor for Aunt Sweetie to get to see the birth – my very first to watch! It was awesome and I cried…of course. 🙂

Can we start the “Zimmermann girls make me ill after giving birth” Club?! What I mean is jeez Jodi you look great! 🙂 And she cut all of her hair off – its really cute!
Of course Ryker is gorgeous – there was never to be any doubt about that! Karsyn is tooooooo cute. I had no idea her hair was so curly!

I am so sad to not be up there with our normal family partying – but am forever thankful that Aunt Sissy was there with the camera ready to go! Jodi, he is so handsome and I think he looks like Darin. I thought so immediately with the first picture!! I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the pic of Sweetie, Karsyn and Ryker, oh my gosh is that absoluetly precious! Jodi you do look beautiful, and I love the sweet expression on Darin’s face looking down on his boy! Thank you Lord for an easy birth and a healthy baby. God is good all the time, all the time God is good.

He was well worth the wait. What a blessing. I think he looks just like his big sister, but time will tell. Jodi, looks so good and I love the new hair cut. Darin looks like he is one proud papa.
just had to look again. 🙂 in the 2nd photo down he has the cutest expression on his face… as if to say, “ok, i had no idea this is what would happen, is THAT what people look like? why are they making those faces… and what does “aaawe” mean anyway? this is very strange… and it’s kinda cold out there… Mama?”
Doni, thanks so much for the pics! We are going crazy here in Hawaii missing this baby’s arrival. Not to bad to be stuck in Maui if there isn’t a baby to meet!!!! He is so handsome, I can’t officially decide who he looks like, but time will tell, I think he has a little more of his mama than Daddy this time! Not fair, none of mine look like me! I love him and can’t wait to be home, kiss him lots for us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So happy for the entire Zimmerman Clan! Ryker is amazing and I know Jodi was so happy to finally meet him. As for Jodi….I have yet to see her looking even slightly frazzled…purely unbelievable how beautiful she is and LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the hair Jodi!
Can’t wait to meet Ryker…….I’ll reserve judgement on who he looks like at this moment. They change so much in the first few months…..but regardless he will be amazingly handsome!

All I can say is I had the privledge of having an amazing photographer there for it all. I am so thankful that she caught the precious first moments of Ryker’s life. I LOVE LOVE these pictures! Isn’t the one of Mom holding Karsyn holding Ryker so amazing. I have no words for the incredible blessings the Lord has given Darin and I in these two little ones.
What an amazing expereience. I am so so so glad that Doni was our coach. She never for one moment let her baby sister feel any pain :). She is an incredible encourager and lovingly coached me through it all. Darin was so thankful to be able to sit out on the epideral :). Ryker is so incredibly cute!!! We can’t stop kissing those lips!!!
Doni thank you so much for getting these pics up so quick. It was heartbreaking having Jen stuck 🙂 in Hawaii, but you were able to bring us all together. LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!
