Above picture hanging in Tori’s room.?? This is the one you couldn’t see that had a glare on it.?? One of the first smiling pictures I captured.
My grand love of photography stems from seven years of infertility.?? I made a promise to myself that I would capture every moment.?? When Tanner was a baby, Jim bought me an Olympus (film) camara.?? I loved it.?? One of my first photo inspirations was this picture:
??
??
If I recall, this was the very first “photo shoot” I attempted (as oppossed to snap shot pictures).?? Here is a scanned version of Tanner.?? I am saving the bare bum pictures for mom:).????
??
Wow!?? I am so grateful to be in the world of digital now!??
A couple of weeks ago, my friend Michelle emailed the above picture to me and suggested I copy it for Tori.?? I thought that was funny considering that picture was my very FIRST inspiration.?? So, seven years later and with a Canon 30D, I tried this shoot again with Tori.?? Remember the day I said she wasn’t cooperating??? I was really lucky to get that smiling shot above.?? I didn’t even bother attempting diaper or bum only because she wasn’t going for it.?? I had to wait until she fell asleep on her own and then I snuck this one in.?? I love this outfit on her too.?? I think I am getting a little OCD about polka dots but I love them.?? I suspect she will have plenty more polka dot outfits.
Happy Michelle??? ๐

ABSOLUTELY!!!! They turned out perfect! So sweet and cute you could just squeeze them forever ๐
You have really honed in on your tallents in photography and it is a continual growth in your gift you have not only given yourself, your family and friends but everyone that gets the opportunity to view your pictures. What a blessing it is to all of us! Thank you for you!
YEAH!!!! That was the picture I was waiting for (I got confused with the adorable big open eyed pic of yesterday!!!) I think this picture is so precious and of course I love your little “label!” It is one beautiful picture hanging in her room and I love, love, love the way you hung her pictures with ribbons. Everything about her room is feminine and delicate. The little polka dot outfit is adorable, and I always love how babies curl up – precious!
Do you keep copies of all these pics in a fireproof safe? saftey deposit box? under lock and key somewhere???!!! They are priceless, it was fun to see our baby Tanner again!
Job well done my niece – we are so proud of you!
