Tanner is too funny the way he makes over Tori.?? I use the Johnson and Johnson bedtime lotion and Tanner loves it.?? Yesterday I caught him leaning over the diaper changing table and saying “She smells soooooo good I can’t take it!”?? He said it like he wanted to just eat her up.???? Tori has definitely filled an empty place in Tanner’s heart he didn’t know he had!?? :)?? I need to put that quote on a picture soon.??
He loves her so much can you believe I have actually accused TANNER of CROWDING me??? Who would have ever imagined I would say THAT??? He is almost on top of me half the time just trying to be closer to Sissy.?? I no longer have to beg him to sit by me in the evening.?? All I have to do is pick up Tori and walllahhhh….there he is.
Speaking of Tanner…
Jenna and my MIL spent the night one day last week and Jenna slept on Tanner’s top bunk.?? I don’t know if I mentioned this but he decided at 6.5 that he was old enough for the top bunk.?? If you recall, he told me previously that he would not be old enough until he was 7.?? Good think he changed his mind because I really needed to do a room swap when Tori arrived.?? So I go in to check on Jenna and she has a whole hand full of junk and is looking at me with a bewildered expression.?? Upon inquiry, I discover that Tanner has been keeping all his “treasures” under his pillow.?? :)?? There were dollars, coins, and empty shot gun shells in his treasure stash.?? I think I need to buy the kid a piggy bank and a treasure box.?? When I asked him why he was hording everything under his pillow he gave me a rather obvious answer “so Ty won’t take it”.?? :)?? Duh.?? Why did I even ask?
P.S.?? Does it bug you that I am posting stuff completely unrelated to my pictures??? :)?? I am adding pictures with every post for sheer entertainment value but I cannot guarantee that the picture will actually embellish what my topic is especially considering Tori is getting most of the photo shoot time right now.?? 🙂
Disclaimer:?? I have no idea where Tanner got the shot gun shells.?? Best guess is out in the desert at Papa’s.?? Jim did buy him a BB gun this year but it is out of reach unless Dad is with him.?? I realize I have no obligation to explain this but I also know that the non-NRA crowds may pick up on my mention of guns pretty quick.?? I, for one, was sad when Charlten Heston died.?? His NRA pitch was great.?? So was Ben-Hur.?? 🙂

your disclaimer has me gol!! AND I TOTALLY SUPPORT YOU! Don’t worry – Seth has shells of various kinds too. 🙂 With men in the family who like to shoot, their empty shells can be found in the oddest of places – doesn’t worry me! Jas once got stopped at a security checkpoint because of an empty gun shell (not shotgun, not sure what kind) in his bag… OF COURSE he didn’t realize it was in there – it had been there so long it blended in with all the other junk. He also once lost a GOOD knife at security… I certainly see how this stuff can happen… it doesn’t mean you leave guns lying around!!!!
Seth used to have a little keychaing light that he kept under his pillow in case he needed it. 🙂
It’s fun when pics relate to the story but definitely not necessary with the likes of the pics you are posting! I, for one, am totally content… almost… more pictures is always better. 🙂
Love how Tanner is such a nurturing boy! OH MY GOODNESS WILL HE EVER BE A GREAT DADDY SOMEDAY OR WHAT???? This Tori blessing turned out to be the bringing on of more blessings… so glad you’ve got Tanner to crowd. 🙂
